She says she loves Greek food...Nick's influence, I presume? It is pretty random that MSN did this, but of course we hungry (no pun intended) fans don't mind at all! Although I have no idea about all those places. LOL Maybe someday I'll go visit.

LAKE MINNETONKA!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO.... that is super close to where I live in Minnesota!!! How exciting! I am glad we had a lasting influence.. and she best get her butt back here sometime soon!!!

Lake Minnetonka reminds me of the "Grumpy Old Men" movies...... I wonder if Katharine has ever watched those movies????

I know what you mean, "Kate4chrisandkat".  Lake Minnetonka is just a short drive away for me, too!  What was also great form me to read about were all the places that she's been to & likes out in LA.   I've been there myself, and spent a year in the same area that she grew up in & I actually know some of the spots that she's talking about in here.  And then to read about how much she liked it on Lake Minnetonka here near MY current hometown in MN.  It just makes you realize what a small world we really do live in!  

Hope we see her back here in MN soon!!!

Fun bit of information about Kat...now we'll have to frequent those LA sites and maybe we can eat a grilled cheese with curly fries at kat's table

Thanks for the article! That SkyCity restaurant up on top of the Space Needle is pretty famous--and has a lot of history behind it. Even Elvis shot some scenes up there for a film he did called "It Happened at the World's Fair" in the early 1960's. I've never eaten in the restaurant (well, I peeked in there briefly when visiting a few years back)--but if you don't like wind or heights...then that restaurant won't be for you. I'm talking about getting blown around by the wind BEFORE going into the restaurant, since the restaurant is indoors. Obviously, though, Kat has big, sexy hair that still looks cool in the wind--and she seems to like places where you can look down on things. I like that too--especially when you want to get away from everything and want to take in a view of the world around you.

Too bad Kat didn't have time to investigate Portland, OR when they were up here during the 'AI' tour last year. But I think they were only here for one night and obviously had no time to see anything. She'd probably love the rose gardens up at Washington Park. You get an amazing view of the city skyline up there while being surrounded by hundreds of rose bushes. It's a must-see if any of you visit up here. And there's plenty more...especially the shopping. Even Britney Spears loved the shopping in Portland when she visited here a few years back--despite that not being the best spokesperson for shopping here.

Interesting that Kat likes to bowl so much, despite that still being a rite of passage when you live in Hollywood. Bowling alleys down there are always popular and have been plentifully around in that area going back to the olden days of Tinseltown. That little restaurant/bowling alley may be a famously old one that's been around for decades.

Next stop for Kat: The famous sites of Europe. No bowling alleys in places like France, though, as far as I know. If they do, it's probably something high concept.

LOL, yea, i was thinking about this one as well that Kat is a Red Sox fan.. Kat must be a big baseball fan, or any sport for that matter, since she mentioned she likes sports alot.

i just LOVE this article all in all, probably my most favorite at the moment, just coz it's very interesting and let's you know alot more about Kat as a 'normal' person. she's never really mentioned how much she loves Greek food (now I gotta find me some Greek food!), and how much of a sports –bowling/baseball fan she is (she’s so cool), how much of a country music fan she really is (yhey for McWoodicts!), how she’s into hiking/outdoors-y activities (, and more, so now we know!

 

Gosh, I love Kat even more now, she’s such a great, fun, interesting person, aside from being a talented artist! She’s very down-to-earth and it’s crazy how some people think that she’s a diva… so crazy..
