Kat, please take this day to look back at all you have accomplished and all you have overcome. When your mom put into the universe that you'd either be on a hit tv show or have an album out in five years, you were able to then make it happen. Not many people can turn their dreams into reality, but you did. Good for you. You found a way, never giving up and eventually persevering. That right there is the key to success. Keep that with you in everything you continue to dream of.

Well I guess now is as good of a time as any to say:

HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY KATHARINE MCPHEE!
Today is a very exciting day. A day that marks when this beautiful star child was born. A day when God created one of his greatest creations, Katharine McPhee. She was sent down on this day to grow and eventually grace the world with her incredible gift that God has blessed her with. We didn't know about this child until she appeared on American Idol but now that she has showed the world what she can do, it is possibly the greatest gift that any of us could ask for. The beautiful thing about the gift is that receive it everyday when ever we listen to, or watch Katharine McPhee from songs or videos. Today is the day to celebrate that gift and just let it take you into a whole other world, a world you could only dream of.

I really hope that Katharine is able to relax and have fun on this day. To all of the McPhee's: God Bless you all!

I am a little upset that my gift for Katharine couldn't arrive today or be sent because I am still working on it. Lately, I haven't had time to work on it but I just started again last week so I hope I can finish it and send it to her. I guess sending Katharine a gift late is better than never.

Here's a real twist for you....it's my birthday and also my sweetheart's birthday!!!

Yes, I'm old enough to be your mom and maybe even grandma but I truly enjoy your music and your performances. My son (who turns 30), asked me if I had your CD yet...I said "do you really think I could wait to receive it as a birthday gift"????? I even vote for KAT on TRL!!!

Here's hoping this year brings new and joyful experiences as well as the occassional not so great things. It's the "not so great" things in life that can account for so many fabulous song lyrics. Going through difficult times can pay dividends when you perform songs written about those things you've gone through. If you haven't lost at love before, it is hard to sing about it...well, at least I would imagine so!

I'm so glad to be one of your devoted fans! We're all here for you ... forever!
