Let’s all throw "VIEWING & VOTING PARTIES" next Tuesday, for 2 - 22 people! We’ll invite any Kat fans with cell phones, primarily fans with a Cingular phone (their own or borrowed) ...First, the (2 or 22) fans will all watch the show, then all have a little contest to see who's message counter shows the highest number of votes for Kat after the voting concludes!* (You'll have to decide on the winner's prize -- can't help you there.)

Want Proof ? -- Idoleyes got 8,500+ votes with his "texter consortium" & Scott71785 got 54,000+ votes Tues at a single Pizza party!

HAVE GREAT FUN AT YOUR TUESDAY VOTING PARTIES, MCPHANS!

*And be sure everyone's message counters are reset to zero before the voting starts!

PS: How do we invite people? Easy! Just call anyone you already know who loves Kat* & suggest they bring a Cingular phone (their own or borrowed) and explain how they can have Cingular enable it for UNLIMITED FREE TEXTING in a single phone call to Customer Service for only $2.99. (And if they DON'T have Cingular, just tell them to bring their cell phone & vote the usual way, anyway!)

WE’VE GOT to "MOBILIZE ALL MCPHANS" to outflank Taylor's army of "machine gun texters"!!!

*Such as anyone in your family, church, band, sorority, dorm, choir ......or just plain friends!

Great idea nasa...and it's important that Kat fans understand that it doesn't have to be a large gathering....or the people don't even have to be in the same house/city/state...just as long as they are organized into the same synergy of voting for Kat....Taylor is awesome....and his supporters are dedicated....but I believe we can beat them...

I'm surprised more true Kat fans are not reading and responding to this thread...

I'm bumping this up because I believe this is where Kat fans should be concentrating their efforts over the next four days...I will repeat what I've said on other threads....to spend time lamenting the bashing or 'defending' Kat's honor - either here or on other boards - is a waste of time (although it does make us feel better)....you cannot control the bashers...but you can control how you react to the bashing...

I'd be much more encouraged to hear stories from Kat fans bragging about their successful efforts in recruiting 1 or 2 of their personal friends to power vote for Kat than I am about hearing the 'shock and awe' reactions to Kat bashing...

Even if the Kat 'defenders' are successful in changing some opinions on the various boards and 'converting' some people into ostensibly voting for Kat, you cannot control how those anoymous 'converts' may actually vote...but you can directly control how people you actually know and recruit face to face will vote....

So how about it....let's hear some good news from Kat fans who can confirm that they have recruited 1 person, or any other number of friends or associates, to vote for Kat next Tuesday...

I've been recruting my immediate family for the past few weeks and for the finale I'm putting on the full court press. I'll be sending out an e-mail to several other family members later today encouraging them to vote for Kat as much as they can. I will make it clear they are doing me a favor by voting and that any lack of voting for Kat I will take personally. Guilt can be a powerful motivator
