Congrats, Stevo!  Whaddya think put you over the top?  Could it be the kitty porn?   You, of course, deserve this recognition as much as anyone for sharing with us your brilliant sense of humor, among other things.  At times it was exactly what this board needed.  Thanks for keeping us all in stitches for the past several months, and here's to many more laughs in the future.

OMG, OMG, OMG - Mutt!  You finally won!  Congratulations pal!  Oh, and Mark perhaps my threatening to cry if Mutt didn't win may have pulled in the win, I doubt it . . . who knows (I'd like to think people wouldn't want to see me stomping around and crying if he hadn't of won this week)  But I do know - it was about DAMN time!

Mutskie - I love you maaaaaan (LoL, thanks for that funny memory). You really do bring so much to this site and the chatroom, I thank you for giving me a lot of laughs while reading your posts at work.  Oh, and BTW, you are leaving the Island this summer to join the Dysfunctional family while we follow Kat's CA leg of the tour.  We need a Dad to drive the RV!  Also, I really think you have a good aura and I love your energy!  Congrats again Mutskie, you totally deserved this - you were DUE!

Thank you, everyone, for your very kind words.  Does it scare you people when I'm being serious and sincere?  Cause it even freaks me out a little.

As for "deserving" McPhan of the Week.... I've used that word before and will still use it when congratulating people, but the fact is that we all are Kat Phans.  We all do our part, just by being here and supporting her.  Some people organize and carry out huge projects, while some of us merely participate or come to KMF to post.  I'm gonna get all sappy here, but it's a really nice thing that we appreciate each other's unique contribution.

I would like to thank my campaign manager, Co, for all her hard work.  Though I think she is assuming that her threat to cry if I didn't win this week worked towards my win.  She is discrediting those who may have voted against me just because they did want to see her cry.  It's been slow with Kat news, Co, we're all getting bored.  "We Made Co Cry" sounds like a potentially popular Off-Topic thread.

Eric, I was gonna say I would like that award in the form of Katharine herself, but the idea of a gold, Oscar-like Kat is creeping me out quite a bit.  Maybe a nice plaque with her picture on it?  Pink shirt, glasses, hair up in a messy bun... (Thanks for the picture, Mark.)

My congrats too, Mutt. You are one of the truly funny mcphans here at KMF. I'll never forget your "oh, I have to see Kat in glasses on EACH page whenever I look at this post". You owned that post which actually started in mine about a fan who saw Kat at an after party.  "She looked like a hot ..." He also mentioned that he didn't know she wore glasses!

Well, what followed to this day was your hilarious obsession, KIG, fueled by Tina, twisted, posting here the first picture of Kat in glasses....we have enjoyed many chuckles and laughs over your comments and  er pictures and agree that you are most deserving of this award as well as the McPhan prize for Humor!

And, what better way to congratulate you than to present you a congratulatory note from the cat who started that site where you got all the kitty porn from. Meet Mr. Kitty P. Kat. No, we can't tell you what the middle initial stands for--but here's his little message to you...


Of course, the 'Congratulations' was set up strategically to prevent the use of any black bars here.



If we can possibly be serious here for a minute: I've truly enjoyed seeing you spread the humour around KMF and keeping things lightweight since we both arrived in May. When some of us first arrived on KMF then, there really wasn't a huge contingent of people who took the time to make things lightweight here (not that I'm faulting that)--and those of us who like to do hit-and-run oneliners, satire and other assorted types of comedy appreciate seeing others who do the same thing.  You've really brought an edgy type of comedy that's easy to get a belly laugh at without it offending. Well, at least from my point of view anyway. Let's also not forget that you have that serious side that's just as noteworthy.

You're truly an important member of KMF and part of the diverse ways we all contribute here. Though we don't talk much in chat anymore (what happened with that?), keep up the humour around here. It keeps things sane...even if it may look insane on the exterior.

And, don't worry, Mr. Kitty P. Kat just put on some clothing...so everything's in the clear.
