Congratulations McElphaba/Elphie/Laura (the girl with 3 names)!  I feel like such a good campaigner - so far my two nominations have won.  Okay, peeps, I really am not using my Katfia connections to sway the votes.  Ya hear that Yuvie?!

Thanks Jennie for the special thanks, you are too sweet - I'm just an idea person I guess you could say, that doesn't give up when I believe in something!  Like I've said many times before I always think of the line from the movie "The Outsiders," - "Lets do it for Kat!"  *spoken in the tone of Matt Dillion*.  Well, this time "Let's do it for Kat and the Girls," I am just so impressed to see how well things can turn out when we pitch in together as a team.

Congratulations, Elphie!!

A great win following co-organizing (pun INTENDED) the Care Package Project, creating the gift baskets, making the pillowcases, gathering the gifts from McPhans nationwide and forcing Laurie to join you as a pack mule.  Not to mention risking both your lives during the storm, battling wild radio tents and secondhand smoke.  The icing on the cake?  Having been the one to choose Ring Pops to add to the baskets.  Killerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

It was more than right that you won this next, Laura--so congratulations. You and LaurIE should be honourary winners of this forever, because we'll never have any experience that will come close to what you guys went through. Well, maybe we will...but it'll be a long time if ever. Certainly none that involved near-death experiences.

Again, we appreciate what you did. The ones who managed to take an idea and make it blossom like this should be the first batch of winners. I've seen other boards where people organize ambitious projects...and it hardly gets off the ground. You guys (with Co at the helm) know how to get things done when you get an idea. That gift package was one of the best-organized gift projects we've probably ever done for Kat other than the roses project.

Vadia should be the next winner now...even though I see she was the serious competition on this one. At least our choice of winners are quite unanimous so far. It'll be interesting to see what happens when we start getting ties down the road. Who breaks the tie, by the way? I assume we'll get a re-vote of the tied candidates if that ever happens. And then a re-vote on the re-vote...
