I haven't received any update yet on my application as Top Snoop Correspondent Royale for the Philippine edition of The Daily Dung, so here's my formal plea to Gregoricant, KatFan49 and the people behind the successful paper. (tell me if I got your names right)

Sources have been spamming me through snail mail clamoring for my immediate inception into the writers pool of TDD. My house is almost non-existent already, I have driven my parents and other housemates just so I can accommodate all the spam snail mails people have been sending me non-stop. I'm telling you guys, better speed up my application or else, I'll spam snail mail you. These guys have no mercy, about 15.5 snail mails more, my house will explode. The explosion will be so big, it will catapult me straight into the comfort room in the AI guys' trailer.

I will be doing my own snooping around in hopes of putting up a Dung-worthy article for everybody's consumption. For starters, I'm trying to conjure up (yes peeps, I'm a witch too..*wink, wink*) Katharine and Kellie, or at least their most trying hard impersonators to score an exclusive for y'all. So far progress has limited me to just their worst looks in a magnificently bad hair day (but somehow I still find them looking good), but I'm currently revising my potions to catch them (hopefully) in their i-just-sang-off-the-stage-sweaty-yet-gorgeous look.

Ooh, I just remembered, I have to buy some more ingredients for that potion. Ta-ta!!!

*Don't worry, I'm not practicing the dark arts anymore, I let the creepy people at Hogwarts do that now.*

ALL YOU HATERS AND BASHERS, TAKE HEED!!!

The TDD has already taken care of those spammers for you. As much as the reporters at TDD are flies on the wall...they're also effective catapulters of the spam. Perhaps that's called vigilantism--but the media industry considers rounding these people up as being prisoners of war. And then there's a secret field out in the middle of nowhere where these spammers are put in TDD's catapults and flung away to elsewhere. So far, they've only been flung into that little lake about a mile away...but it at least puts them in a place that's far away from a computer and flooding your email box.

According to my sources, they say a correspondent from Laguna would be a valuable resource in getting a different angle on the idols. Though from what I understand, Timmy Casablanca gave three guttoral sounds on this idea...which was deciphered as creating a 'Tuna from Laguna' section in the back of the mag. Well, sometimes people go right to the back of mags anyway to see what's there.

So, congratulations on being automatically hired without having to go through the usual rigors of meeting Mr. Casablanca face to face. If Mr. Casablanca starts making other unfamiliar noises, TDD may have to bring you in for a live job evaluation--though I hope you understand.

Oh, and I hear that TDD has some connections to the Salem Witch Trials in MA, 1692. It seems the Casablanca family has descendants who were actually the accusers in the courts. According to historical records, this particular Casablanca descendent watched the very first public magic show put on in Salem that was pegged as being the work of witches. It was reportedly when the first rabbit was taken out of a hat in a performance. And when the magician was burned at the stake right there in front of his audience...everybody started cheering thinking it was some kind of new grand-scale illusion. What irony even in the time of false accusations.

Fabulous! Thank you so much! So Tuna from Laguna will be my section then? How generous! A full back page!  Truly delightful!

Wait, I just realized, what if Tuna from Laguna be mistaken for Laguna Beach in Orange County? I want for Laguna to be known to be located in the Philippines, not for some rich neighborhood flanked with surgery-laden kids!
