Ok, apparently this was posted on Survivor Sucks after a bunch of Taylor fans were ragging on Kat for one of her interviews and criticizing everything she had to say. I just found it so hysterical so I wanted to post if here for anyone who hasn't read it:

After Katharine McPhee had extensive PR
training from her instructor, Nice To Animals, she sat down with our SonyConnect reporter for an indepth interview:
---------------------------------------------------------
CONNECT: So how's the album coming along?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Ok, I guess. But I can tell you right now that it will not be anywhere near as artistically great as Taylor Hick's new album. True. This man invented the word 'Soul'. Have you heard his original songs? You need to hear them. That is why the final vote percentage was 99.91 to .09 because he is the soul man and I am nothing but a wannabe actress.

CONNECT: Tell us about your history with the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" Is that something you've sang before the show?

KATHARINE McPHEE: You know, I wouldn't have ever sung the song the way that I did on the show if I had never heard Taylor Hick's original songs. His songs inspired me so much that I thought the best way to sing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' was to make it inspiring and I wouldn't have ever thought that if I hadn't felt the inspiration that I received from listening to Taylor Hick's original music.

CONNECT: And now Somewhere Over the Rainbow, it's sort of become your signature song.

KATHARINE McPHEE: [Laughs] Well, yes it is a classic but it is NOTHING compared to Taylor Hick's original music. Couldn't even be in the same room. Sorry.

CONNECT: What was your favorite part of doing the show, as far as different music guests that were on, or going to Graceland, or whatever?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Yeah, I really loved Graceland. I thought that was so fun but my favorite part of doing the show is that I had the ultimate opportunity to grace the same stage as a future soul legend. You know who I'm talking about, yes, Taylor Hicks. He showed me the way to Soul Heaven. The man has soul coming out of every orifice of his body (got that from Vote For The Worst;)). It was the first time that I ever felt the soul of a human being. Taylor Hick's soul vibe even cured me from saying 'like' in every other sentence. It is that powerful.

CONNECT: What do you think of the voting system?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Umm. [Laughs] . What can I say? 63 million votes. I was just fortunate to get the 200 votes that I received. I mean really. When you are competing with a future soul legend, what do you expect the outcome will be? I was just lucky to be in this competition with Taylor Hicks.

CONNECT: Really?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Yes. And can I tell you something? I wanted to have $%^& (edited for content) with Taylor Hicks so bad but he turned me down.

CONNECT: You know, I think you'll sell more records than Taylor Hicks. But do you think being from LA and the West Coast was a big disadvantage? Obviously, most winners have come from the South.

KATHARINE McPHEE: WHAT? ARE YOU INSANE? I think that this interview will be over very quick sir if you keep talking like that. Do you know who you are talking about? TAYLOR F%#*ING HICKS. FUTURE SOUL LEGEND. GET IT? YOU BETTER.

CONNECT: Sorry, please don't walk out. I do apologize. Let me repeat my last question. Do you think being from LA and the West Coast was a big disadvantage? Obviously, most winners have come from the South.

KATHARINE McPHEE: Not at all. My neighbors down the street in Sherman Oaks told me point blank 'Honey we are voting for Taylor Hicks. You are just meh, but with Taylor, we can feel the soul.' I told them that I totally agree. Please. It was no contest.

CONNECT: OK next question. Would you be more interested in being in Broadway than being a pop star?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Yeah, I'd definitely like to be on Broadway someday, but right now it's all about Taylor Hicks. I can't even define my own music right now because I am so feeling the Taylor Hick's soul vibe. I definitely want to feel it out and see what happens.

CONNECT: Back in the beginning of the season, who did you think your biggest competition was?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Only Taylor Hicks.

CONNECT: Would "Over the Rainbow" be your own favorite performance?

KATHARINE McPHEE: No, because Taylor Hicks didn't sing it.

CONNECT: What were some of your favorite performances from other contestants?

KATHARINE McPHEE: I only enjoyed Taylor Hick's performances. The man is a future soul legend.

CONNECT: Whose departure from the show shocked you the most and why?

KATHARINE McPHEE: None. As long as Taylor Hicks was still in the competition, I was never shocked.

CONNECT: How do you feel after a performance and a judge tells you it wasn't up to par, and you're standing there on stage having just belted it out

KATHARINE McPHEE: You know, it's really not as bad as you think it is! Because I always tried my best but I could see the judge's point of view. Performing on the same stage as Taylor Hicks, I knew that I could never come close to his greatness. I mean look, he had the voice, the good looks, the dance moves. Finally in the Final 6, I said to myself, 'Girl, you are gonna have to show your panties just to compete with him.' Did I say the man is a future soul legend?

CONNECT: Did Simon Cowell ever make you cry?

KATHARINE McPHEE: The only time I was brought to tears was when Chris Daughtry got voted off. I was crying just because everybody was going on "Poor Chris Daughtry," and I was thinking, "Uh, Hey, why is everyone acting like Taylor Hicks just got voted off?." I was just so emotional and so overwhelmed that I still had the privilege to be on the same stage with Taylor Hicks. So of course I cried.

CONNECT: What was it like performing with Meatloaf? How random was that?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Pretty random! But, um, I enjoyed performing with Taylor Hicks so much more. Did you notice how Taylor made 'Time of My Life' his own? He is a soul genius. I could never put that much soul into a song.

CONNECT: Do you have a favorite judge?

KATHARINE McPHEE: No. I wanted to cut Simon. All those mean things he said to Taylor.

CONNECT: Do you think he wasn't being honest about Taylor, or do you think it's a put-on for drama and theatrics?

KATHARINE McPHEE: He had an agenda. He knew that the 'Soul Patrol' was on FIRE. Even Paula knew it in her drunken stupor.

CONNECT: Did you think Paula was unfair to you?

KATHARINE McPHEE: No. Paula called me a slut and a whore but she was always was very supportive of Taylor and his talent so I respect her for that.

CONNECT: Do you think there's a stigma attached to people that come out of American Idol?

KATHARINE McPHEE: I definitely did think that but with Taylor Hicks...not anymore.

CONNECT: Before I let you go, tell us about the tour. Looking forward to that?

KATHARINE McPHEE: Yeah, definitely. Psst, just between me and you, I have decided that I would fake larynigitis so I could miss the entire tour so that Taylor Hicks could perform a full set of 8 songs. That is what America wants. Did I say he is a future soul legend?

Brilliant! I wonder if this gives the SP and the rest of the bashers pause for thought?? nah, not likely.
