The Hollywood Tattletale"If you subscribe to us...you need a life"Auto Manufacturer Introduces the Pheever
Hollywood - Clueless Press International Ford Motor Company, concerned with slumping sales figures, has introduced a new vehicle into its product line - the Pheever.
"We needed to address the changing market," said a company spokesman. "The typical automobile buyer these days is more sophisticated and has better taste than in the past. We wanted to compete in that market by introducing a vehicle that is beautiful and sleek, and at the same time provide the consumer with the opportunity to own a car that will provide many years of satisfaction. People will come to idolize this car."
Keeping in mind the environmental awareness of today's buyer, Ford has totally redesigned the power plant in these state of the art vehicles. "This will be the first automobile to be powered by Phans," says the chief project manager. "While providing more than adequate power to pass anything else on the road, the Phan engine will not only cut down on harmful emissions, but will generate a powerful breeze that will contribute in the fight against global warming. This will definitely be the coolest engine ever."
Fuel economy figures were unavailable, but it is generally believed that the Phan engine will allow drivers to go from coast to coast without refueling.
The Pheever will be offered in a rainbow of color choices. There are no options available, as the vehicle comes standard with every possible comfort and convenience feature.
In a nod to Wall Street investors, Ford has reportedly taken under advisement the suggestion that the name of the company be changed to Phord Motor Company to give it more recognizable name recognition.
Taylor Hicks, the American Idol and Ford advertizing star, will remain in his current capacity. "What better way to launch this new product than to have Mr. Hicks be the spokesman for the Pheever?" says Ford's marketing director.
Indeed.
