Can someone go through kat's weekly wardrobe and write down all the things she wore, based on the label and the description? It'd be great if you could categorize by the Week as well as write down the description, which this link provides.... (label and what the clothing is called). No one is doing it, that is why there are no other responses here! If you would like to do it, then say so here and Ken will get back to you with more information. In future this whole process of assigning/selecting tasks for the website will be automated, but until then we are hoping to get things rolling before this information disapears for good. So please step up to the plate and become katpedia's first researcher!

I am not volunteering to do this, but an easy way to capture this would be to save the pages to your hard drive. This will give you all of the little gifs and links as well. Go to all shows, there should be 8 pages. On Firefox go to File>Save Page As. This will give you the whole page that could be directly incorporated into the Katpedia.

Ken - shouldn't someone say that they are doing it so that we don't get a whole bunch of people duplicating the effort? That is a sure way to discourage people if tomorrow 5 people show up with task completed and we tell 4 of them "sorry, you wasted your time". Until we get automated, I think we should at least take the steps that would be taken if we were - that is, one person takes responsibility for the task, becomse the "official" owner of that task and everyone else knows not to perform the same task. So I think if you want to take on a task, say so here!

i agree, there has to be some kind of organization with this...i have to work today and tonight, but i am off tomorrow--tuesday, i have all of the info for this post--the other one about makeup, hair, whatever...i don't know what you need because i saw that somebody already got all of that...tell me what you need, and i will organize it, okay? i don't want to do what 50 other people are already doing--but i WILL do anything that needs to be done for the project, okay? okay. thanks!

Unfortuantely, despite working on the project since i got home from work until bed, and then working on it this morning and now being very late, i did not get a chance to try the "save as" trick. if you could try that on mozilla (save as complete web page option) and if it doesn't work just save the stuff on word or notepad, that'd be great thanks!

sounds like a plan...going to eat and then i will get this done for the site! okay, i am doing this now, and i am telling you that i can save all the pages, which are quite a few, and organize them, HOWEVER, when you click on the links for the products that she wore--you DO NOT get the products she wore--you get the designer that she wore and a similar item, but some of the "similar" items are not similar at all...so, i don't know why we would want to see the similar items, but i have saved the pages with the designers' names and the name of the design, but again, if you click it, not even similar. kat is one of a kind and so are her outfits i guess! ha ;) just wanted to give you the heads up on this. if you want me to save the NON similar items, i will...but i think that's not worth it for the site, in my opinion, as it's supposed to be what she wore and so forth, right? let me know if otherwise...i tried to e-mail you but you have no e-mail listed for the site that i can see.

Hey! Thanks! Ok, i was going through the stuff yesterday.... it seemed like the links led to the items she wore but i guess i don't have your eye for detail. Regardless, does the saved webpage take you to the same url that the "live' webpage goes to?

yes, i saved the pages...and i saved all of the info...and a lot of what she wore is NOT the stuff they link you to--it says "similar item," so instead, i opened up a new window for each and searched for that item with the maker and most of the stuff i found, the stuff that she wore--there were about 2 things so far, and i haven't completed apparel yet, but i will tomorrow...i have all of the jewelry and shoes done though for the top 12 weeks--including hair and makeup, which was only for the top 8 weeks...though i am not sure if somebody else, i think katidol said he was doing that? anyway, i have it all. it took for freakin ever! gosh! haha
