hey all-

i know that the holidays are months away, but i have an idea for something we might be able to do when the time comes. i'm not sure if anyone knows who she is, but i am a part of vanessa marcil's fan club & for every holiday season, the fan club puts together tons of different gifts for sojourn services, which is a women & children's shelter in CA that vanessa is involved with. just a little fyi- vanessa played brenda on "general hospital" for years & she now plays sam on "las vegas."

anyway, her fan club has been doing this for years & it's really nice to do something so worthy for people who could use some cheer around holiday time; no matter what they celebrate. i don't know if katharine has a specific charity that she is involved in or anything, but i just felt llike it might take a few months to get this thing up & running anyway if we decide it's something we would like to do. i def know that we're not an official fan club or anything, but since we've had so many successful projects before, i thought this was the place to go. if anyone has any questions about it, you can either IM me under the same name or reply here...lemme know what you think!

oh PS- i wouldn't mind working on the project around the holidays, but right now, i have 2 jobs so i'm crazyyyyy busy! i'm also in NY so if everyone wants to do this, it might be best if someone in CA took the reins. anyway, discuss...

GREAT suggestion--i totally think this would be a wonderful project and i am SURE kat would LOVE for us to do something like this!  i really like vanessa marcil, btw...ha  watched her on GH and still watch her on vegas...she's a riot on there.  ha   

i would definitely be willing to organize it if enough people are interested--we just need to find out which charity kat would like us to organize it for to start the ball rolling, right? 

so, i guess if people are interested in partaking in this project, holllla at this post!

HOLLA! LOL. I think it would be a good project, and plus we should get her something for christmas... as a whole site to her. Which would be really cool. Have everyone chip in a little bit !I dont know.

that's a given, is it not?  ha  if we do the charity thing, i know they give you a certificate or something, depending on the charity, saying you contributed, so that could be part of it--framed--from us on her behalf, etc and so on.  who knows what will happen at this point but if people are interested, we need to start the ball rolling, so spread the word people!
