Everyone who has submitted poetry for the project should please e-mail me with the following information: 1. What name, that is, real name (if any), besides your screen name do you want to appear in the book? Even if you listed a first or last name in your post, please do this again. (I'm assuming many people did not necessarily wish to post their real name here, but might want Kat to see it.) 2. What address do you want your page(s) to be sent to for the purpose of signing? Full address, please, with zip codes, apartment numbers, etc. If you live overseas, take particular care so that we will understand the proper format for your country. Send this information to: worksite@msn.com And please type carefully since what you write is what will be done. Congratulations to all who are participating. Gary

Gary, I submitted my 3rd poem around 10pm last night Pacific Time, but it was on the "other thread" that warned us about the deadline being 8/1/2006, by mistake. I really thought the deadline would coincide my own time zone, so I am hoping that it should be included. It's entitled "Will You Remember Me". Please reply about this. Thank you. ---mattsie

Movie actors like Paul Newman, Jimmy Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Bette Davis make me want to live in the era they lived but I could have been just as inspired even now while I watch their work in films.

We have had a lot of last minute submissions and I don't have a clear sense at this point of how many pages we will need and how many are available. There are a few small things in the poem that I would like to edit (for example, it should be "here to stay" and the poem should end in a question mark). May I have your permission to edit? Gary

Gary Gary, sorry, I forgot the "to". I thought I got it all well and good. My eyes are failing me, I guess. I edited it just now, and I also put the question mark that I missed. Thanks for including my 3rd poem. I appreciate it. I hurriedly did this one to catch up on the deadline (in 2 hours only). I had more time doing the first 2 poems --(in 2 days) You see I just joined here on the 29th and I didn't know that there was a poetry project, but I'm glad I got to join and got to submit my poems for the project.
