Just wanted to let everyone know the "Write to Kat While She's on the Road" project is still going on.  Kat will be hopping on that tour bus soon!  So, mosey on over to the "Upcoming CONCERT and Appearances Folder" and sit right down and write Kat a letter. 

Remember this project will be going on throughout the tour, so write as often as you like.  Kat will enjoy reading the letters while she travels from town to town.

Can you help to keep this post on the front page for the next day or so? Just doing a little Marketing 101 to keep this fresh in your minds.

Add "Happy Sunday" or a positive/motivational quote, whatever. Oh yeah, and go write a letter to Kat!

Great quote, Vadia!!  It is so true too!!  This project is such a great idea!!  Thank you for all of your work and effort Colleen.  I too have written a letter to Kat on the thread, and plan on writing more

Go take a look in the Concert Talk section of the forum for details. Basically, there'll be designated people in each city that have meet and greet passes who will print out the letters and personally give them to Kat backstage. Of course, security probably won't allow a direct 'giving' of the letters...unless things are different on these m&g's from unrelated ones I've attended. Nevertheless, she'll still get them...but just wouldn't likely see them until later on the bus.  And that's all that matters anyway.

I hope Kat gets that little satire piece I wrote showing the Bratz Doll toy tour bus and the description I saw on Amazon.com.  Some new here probably thought that was weird of me writing that as a first-time letter--when it's far from my first letter.  All my serious sentiments on how I feel about Kat as an artist and person have already been written aplenty by me during her 'AI' sequester--so it was time to just do something different and write out something halfway humourous this time.

There's some other ideas I have for showing the satirical side of touring in those little notes. But if Kat doesn't go back on tour until August--maybe a lot of that stuff won't bother her anyway.

Update to the Update

To the lovely Kat Fans,

If you would like to get a letter to Kat for the next delivery, please write one by Wednesday, July 12 at 3 p.m. EDT over at the Upcoming CONCERT and Appearances folder. If Kat isn't there on July 16, the letters will be given to another Idol contestant.

Thanks to KatPack1198 (Melissa) for working so hard on getting a Meet & Greet and getting them hand-delivered (hopefully) to Kat.

Co Baby, would you please e-mail Noni for us?  I'll do it when I get home if I don't forget, but Chad asked us to let her know that the Concert Talk Forum doesn't allow for posts to be edited.  I guess she's the one who made it and she's the one who needs to activate that feature. 

We noticed that the edit feature isn't working in that forum, so people are posting and double posting since they can't edit.  Thanks!
