Hi, as some of you may know, I'm from India..

Lin suggested I should help out with the Kat Pack Street Team to promote airplay in India.. and I thought.. why not? So, I decided to stop moping over no Kat and START DOING SOMETHING!

So, I looked online and it seems like the sites only play Bollywood music..

I'm wondering, could someone help me out here? Direct me to places I might be able to go to.. Tips on what to do in general.... please?

I haven't heard Kat's official songs yet.. my speakers are broken!!  I want to hear Kat!!

Some bashers are scoring the songs low with the ***** system. You have to refresh 3 or 4 times to vote again. It would be nice to get those numbers up. Maybe you can get some friends to help vote too. Can you start a Katharine fan club or my space? Just voting on these online polls and making positive comments on various blogs and e.g. amazon.com would be a big help for Katharine.

We are pretty much on top of the other voting on that page.

Hey, Yuvie! Long time no see! There's lots you can do to help drive up demand for Kat's music in India. In addition to telling all your friends & calling radio stations, you can get in touch with local record stores and see if they're planning on carrying Kat's CD. If they say, no, do what lauris in Colombia did: get the number of their importer, and hit them up. It worked for her.

I think there was a total of 3 Indian Kat Phans at the AI boards.. we all joined at different dates, and probably never did meet..
But, at one point, we were all online at the same time.. still never talked, but, hey.. it's something!  

The other Indian McPhan's Screen name was Huskeybabe ..

But, to be honest, if she got airplay in India, I think she'd gain a lot of Phans... I know a lot of people here love this style..

Here's the problem V, there are no record stores where I live.. it's more or less a sad little village/town..
