Thanks to babisu13 from IDF OKay so as some of you might know I am one of the Idol Junkies and I've been to 10 shows. Of course the first 7 were without Katharine, so that left me with 3. Maine Sept 21 was the first. My mom let me leave school 2 periods early so I could wait by the busses. I got to see her walk in but she didnt turn around or anything. Then we totally luck out and get meet and greet passes. So I'm freaking out becuse Katharine is going to be there. Only four of us got to go in though, 4 had to wait outside. Turns out, Kat was sick and not at the meet and greet. So I start to bawl my eyes out because my friends who didnt get to go in could have instead of me. The was Rhode Island. Sept 22. We went and she performed. I recorded it. and we had after party passes, but she didnt go to the after party. Then was Bridgeport CT my final concert. Yesterday. She sang. My sister recorded it all. And she WENT TO THE AFTER PARTY AND I MET HER!!! It was amazing. The after party was wicked crowded, like to the point where you couldnt breathe. But I got to meet Katharine thanks to all my amazing friends who heeved me to the front. She was so nice. She already knew who I was and who the junkies were and I got a little video of me talking to her: meeting katharine 01:02 and then she took pictures with all of us. She was so sweet. I dont think anything can top last night. It was so worth the wait. I would go to ten more concerts if it meant meeting her again. This was truly the best ending to the best Idolicious summer ever. ME AND KATHARINE

Man, there must have been dozens from the boards who got backstage this weekend. I can't keep up with them all. I haven't even made comment on the other ones from Bridgeport yet. Thanks again, Minnie, for finding that. And thanks to the original reviewer for providing the video of the after party. The vid was interesting if making you want to breathe into a paper bag from how crowded it look there. For some reason, it looked like the after party was held right inside the rounds of the venue itself. You can see the seats and stage off in the distance. Usually these are held in the backstage area away from that area entirely. But it's highly obvious that it's a very cramped area. Even some girl yells out that she needs some air from not being able to breathe. And then there's Kat who looks like the whole thing is a breeze. It's amazing to me how in control she is in any type of situation like that. It shows she loves the human contact with the fans--even in cramped settings like this. I do think Kat's solo tour will have backstage meetings that go a lot smoother. Then again, Kat will be a bigger star then--which equals lots more people to contend with at m&g's and after parties. It could be just as bad as it was during this tour. Though at least it'll be concentrated on Kat alone and not multiple other performers with her. Wow on this person attending 10 shows. I'm sure 19E is happy that person spent that much money on tickets--but makes for a great story of finally meeting Kat after trying to ten times earlier. It also breaks the spell of three times being a charm. You can tell Kat's surprised at how young her fans are getting. It's not all that surprising though. I hope she realizes that her fanbase may be one of the most diverse of any artist in history before long.

aw those videos are cool-- I am happy that they finally were able to meet Kat! in the meet and greet video it looked like that one girl was crying, I think I would cry too if Kat wasn't @ the meet and greet.--chris,ace,mandisa were all nice about telling why Kat wasn't there... and chris was sweet to ask that girl if she was alright. I don't know what is happening to me but all of a sudden I am starting to get a little Chris crush...lately I've been saying aw he is sweet, i love his laugh, he is a good singer (well i have always known that part,never wanted to admit it). I really have no problem with any of them (and why should I, I don't know them personally) they all seem sweet to all the fans, except a couple of videos I have seen of a certain person but won't mention who. I know they all will be sucessful, this season is really talented! But Kat will always be number one to me

It looked like the party could have been held up in the party suites (the highest level)--that is where I watched the concert from when i went to the one in St.Louis.

yeah the after party was soooooo crowded kat told the person in front of me that its never like this... with an annoyed look on her face!!! in the begining, it was only kat and kellie, i believe. then came lisa ace paris and chris... so everyone was crowding around her and kellie, mostly kat!!! the security guards kept having to say step back step back!!! seriously i think that i was like right behind babisu13, b/c the lady that says i cant breath or something like that was right in front of me! she kept saying it!! so yeah i dont think that the idols really liked the setup for the after party at all, no organization!!

McPheeful summer =) 14 times and counting ....
