Hey Hey....
How is everyone? As for the show.. it was amazing... I got to see Katharine perform live... (in concert) I saw her sing live at the Today show already. But anyway.. here is my story. I get to CT about 2:00.. park my car.. and I see there are like 100 or so people there already. Oh before I start with all that.. I heard Katharine wasnt feeling well AGAIN and had a sinus infection.. I was flipping out.. .. so I felt bad and bought her flowers to give to her to make her feel better cause she was sick.. yeah I know.. Im sweet. lol. So I had this little vase of daises with me . So I get there at 2:00 to see if I could score some meet and greet tickets to meet them before the show. Im standing around by where the buses are.. (they were cut separated by a gate) so the people couldnt get close.. We would see an idol.. go on and off the bus and wave to the fans etc.. but they couldnt come over to us because of the fence. I didnt see Katharine... I think she had gotten off the bus before I got there. So anyway.. Im waiting around trying to see if anyone had meet and greet tickets. NOBODY had them to give up or whatever... I mean who would! So the people with the list came out and said.. there will be NO extra meet and greet tickets. I was flippin. I even was joking around with one of the guys and said.. how much for that pass around your neck.. and he was a jerk.. he was like.. oh how about pay me my salary and then I will give it to you or some stuff like that... geezz.... how about a sense of humor. Anyway.. Im really mad now... LOL All of a sudden ACE comes out and starts to sign autographs and stuff.. takes pictures etc. So here I am sitting here with the flowers for Katharine and no way in to give them to her..... Soooooooooooo when Ace was down with pictures and signing.... I called him over and said.. Ace can you do me a favor and give these to someone.. He said sure.. who are they for.. I said Katharine.. and he said.. no problem.. I'll make sure she gets them. ... I was happy at that point.. cause I knew I was'nt getting in. So after that.. I started talking to these 4 women that had after party passes. I was like HOW did you get them.. but they wouldnt tell me.. They said they were supposed to tell.. So I didn't push the issue. I got really friendly with them.. and after awhile.. this one woman said.. Listen.. I am here for Taylor.. but if he isnt at the after party.. I will come back out and give you my pass so you can see Katharine.. I was overjoyed.. but still skeptical.. I still had to try and get a pass. I mean what if she didnt come through.. So she gave me her number.. and I was supposed to call her after the show and see what happens. .. She said she might not hear the phone cause it will be in her bag.. but she said try.. (Im thinking ... GREAT... my luck).. So I was walking around a little bit.... and I saw this group of people that I recognized from the Nassau coliseum concert. They were having people sign a tapestry type thing for Elliot. I went over.. started talking to them and signed it for them. We got friendly and this one woman said she had 4th row center tickets.. I was like OMG.. I was in the center but in like row U.. ugh... ...After talking.. I found out they all had after party tickets also. .. They had no extras.. actually they had one or two .. but gave them away already.. ugh... my luck again... So into the show I go....I am talking to these 2 older people next to me.. and they thought it was cool I was there to see Kat. During the show... I notice 2 empty seats in like row K to the section to the left of me.. I wait a few songs etc.. and I start talking to the people next to me and say.. Im going to get up in a few and try and take those seats.. they were like go for it... So i wait and wait... I said.. ok im going to go now.... as soon as I get up.. these 2 girls that were sitting in front of me... get up and run and take the seats I was going to sit in.. OMG... I was FURIOUS... not happy at all... Nothing I can do at this point... So I keep looking around.. and I see 1 seat in like row M .. 2 rows behind them.. SO i run over and ask these 2 women if that seat was taken.. she said no..... and I was now a little closer.. LOL.... So intermission comes along and I run over to the woman I was talking to earlier.. the one that was in the 4th row.. She was sooooooo nice.. Her name was Carol by the way... .. She said.. when Katharine comes on.. I will trade seats with you and let you sit here while she performs.. I was so thankful.. So right after the song Patience..... by the guys.. I ran up and she let me stand next to her and I watched Kat perform from the 4th ROW... It was AWESOME.. in the begining of Somewhere over the Rainbow.. I waved to her.. and she waved back to me.. It was sooo.. cool. I actually have that on video.. So I ended up staying there for the rest of the show. After the show.. she was like.. lets see if we can get you into the after party.
So they are making everyone with a pass sit in a certain section after the show. I said.. oh man.. I am not going to get in... but she said follow me... I held her signs... I had an idea....She peeled off her sticker and put it on her.. but I took the backings of the sticker and held them... I went up to a security guard and said.. listen I had my pass.. but I lost it... is there anything I can do.. He said.. sorry .. no pass .. no entry.. Its not even like i could sneak in.. they had like 5 or 6 people checking passes before you got in.. I was majorly depressed.. cause I wanted to get in.. So now Im waiting around .. and I see everyone going into the party.. it was in the upper part of the place.. you could see where they were going.. I look up and I see katharine and kelly sitting up there waiting for the people.. I was flipping out... I wanted to yell up to her and ask her if she liked the flowers... but I didn't. So now Im sad So everyone goes up there and I am literally the only person left standing around..... these other security guards are like you have to leave.. so I am like yeah yeah.. im going.. .. but didn't leave yet.. I slowly made my around them and stood somewhere else.. they found me again and said listen you have to leave.. so then I made believe I was on the phone etc.. and ignoring them and slowly started walking down the stairs.. I tried calling the woman from earlier.. but ofcourse she didnt pick up her phone... (the one who said she would give me the pass if taylor wasnt there). All of a sudden.. a ray of light shown upon me LOL....The security guard that told me sorry I cant do anything for you the first time.. called me over.. and I was like whats up... he walked me down the stairs and said.. here.. take this.. dont tell anyone where you got it.. HE GAVE ME A AFTERPARY PASS!!!!! OMG.. I couldnt stop smiling!!! So I put it on me and went to the party.. and there she was... KAT!!!! Looking as beautiful as ever.
So I finally get up to her.. and she was like.. I know you from somewhere...... I recognize you.. She said I never forget a face.. She was like.. whats your name again? I said Eric.. and she started to sign a picture for me....so while she was signing the picture....I asked her if she liked the flowers... and she said.. awww are you the one from california.. I said... no.. from NY.. I am the one who sent you the yellow flowers.. she was like aww those were on the table inside... and they told me they were for me.. she thanked me so much.. She said it was sweet. I had something else in my hand.. and she said.. oh you have something else for me to sign? and she signed the program....... the security guard started to pull me away.. and said.. there are other people waiting.. i was with her for like 5 min LOL... I joked with her.. I was like.. I hope to hear from you soon in a letter.. and she said.. Ill do my best! it was awesome.. I also got a picture taken with her.
I also got to meet.. Lisa,... I told her to smile for the camera.. and told her she was amazing on the piano. I met Paris... Kellie... Elliot, Chris... I told him that him and elliot's duet was awesome...I also saw Ace again and said thank you for giving Katharine the flowers and he said no problem man. I missed mandisa...... and Bucky and Taylor werent there.
I saw the woman (carol) that let me stay up front with her in the 4th row.. and told her my story on how I got in. It was awesome..... I have pictures and videos.. .. that was my day..... still amazing in my mind!! So now I have met Kat 4 times... I NEED MORE! LOL
And those of you who I promised the videos and pictures to.. they will be coming....
