I found this review over on MJ's Blog and found Matt to be quite hysterical - he's just brutally honest and sounds like he had a fun time.

WARNING, WARNING before everyone freaks he's not a Kat fan, but he did like her performance.  He says some funny things also to the others . . . just read the review with an open mind and be prepared for some snarky wit.

Here's his recap about his M&G with Kat:

 I immediately moved onto Taylor.

I'm sure Taylor appreciated that!

You should have included the musical review for balance:

After "Patience" Kat came out.  I wasn't looking forward to it.  Oddly enough I LOVED her set.  She sang BH&ACT and Think and SOTR.  I thought her voice sounded awesome in all three.  She's much better live than on the show.  The pureness of her voice is demonstrated much better when you can actually see her singing.  She was my 2nd biggest shock of the night (next to Kellie).

I was thinking the same Phee . . . and I thank you for providing the balance.

Also, the comments about the 40-year old women in his seats and how he told them "how ghetto" that was of them was just too funny!  Lots of laughs reading his recap.

I read two reviews on this site, Matt's and Larry's. Matt sounds just like I did when I was his age, has to be sarcastic and snarky to prove how hip he is so he won't sound too sentimental when he finally says something nice about someone. Larry seemed to be more of a grown up human being rather than a smart-alecky college kid and his tone reflected it. But whatever, it's always interesting to read different points of view and then try to piece them together and get an idea of what things are "really" like out there.
