Yesterday I went to the concert in Peoria IL... my mom was taking me for my senior trip!! and i really wanted meet-n-greet passes.. and somehow my mom got some!!!! omg!! so i went to the civic center around one to just to nose around.. and around 3 the security had us start lining up for the meet and greets.. i was FREAKING OUT!!! so around 4:15 he came and took us down to the room where they were.. omg i walked in the room and it was amazing!! they were all in a line.. Ace, Elliot, Kellie, Bucky, Paris, Mandisa, Lisa, Chris, KATHARINE, and Taylor. so i began thru the line talking to every one getting so shook up as i got closer to her.. so many things racing thru my mind.. what am i going to say? don't say something stupid.. dont get speechless.. well i got to her and this is the convo

"Hi Kat" -me
"Well, hello there" -kat
"how are you today" -me *eyes wider than crap with the biggest smile ever and tears forming in my eyes
"i'm good, you look excited" -kat *with smiles*
"to be honest kat i am freaking out and speechless right now bc i am standing in front of you" -me *still have tears in my eyes.. freaking out.. smiling. wide eyed*

after i said that chris and taylor and kat all started giggling at me

"aww.. honey, your are the sweetest" -kat *with this look on her face so cute with compassionate and she looked so humble..with smiles*
"thank you so much for the autograph and congrats" -me *talking a thousand miles a minute*
"well dear you are very welcome bye now! enjoy the show" -kat
"oh trust me i will!!!!" -me *smiling*

then i walked out of the room and a tear fell .. i was in shock i was freaking out and the security gaurd laughed at me..

but it was the most amazing thing ever.. they are all so nice.. the concert was AMAZING!!!!!! i will have pictures SOON!! i have pictures being devloped right now!! i will post some at soon as i get them!!!!!!!!

it was the most amazing thing in my life..im still in shock that i was right in front of her!!! ya i can't believe i told her i was speechless.. haha.. oh well i am going to pick up my pictures now!! i can't wait!!!

Awe that's so great congratulations! Kat is such a sweetheart, I'm so happy you had the chance to meet her. You know all of that means a lot to Kat to see her fans especially them so excited like that. Can't wait to see your pictures!

So Katharine was sandwiched between Taylor and Chris? That's hot. Who was she flirting with more, thats what I wanna know . I'm a big McDaugtry and McHicks fan if you didn't notice.

Kellie was a sweetheart... Elliot was very shy.. Ace was friendly.. Chris and Taylor couldn't stop laughing at me.. bc i was freaking out.. but they were nice.. Paris Lisa and Mandisa were very friendly.. Bucky was funny.. they all talked to me.. i made conversation with all of them.. talked to some more than others tho.. bc Elloitt and Bucky were kinda shy.. i'm still sorting thru my whole like 200 pictures! hopefully i will be able to get them up soon!! i promise they will come soon!!As for flirting.. she didn't do much.. they two guys were laughing at me and she was talking to me.. lol.. taylor did mention softly that he saw tears in my eyes to her and she made her little sweet face she gets!!!!!

wow so i love your mom and i dont even know her, just because you were able to recap for us! Yay for you meeting kat and the other idols... your recap was really good! can you recap the show and how her performances were? that would be awesome! no they would only let us take picutres "of" the idols.. the show..

Mandisa started out.. singing beautifully.. thanking god above for making her dreams come ture and he is so amazing.. she was very humble.. The Ace came out and sang a duet with her then she left and he sang!! oh he is gorgeous!! haha.. he rocked out.. did an awesome job!! kicked butt.. Then little Lisa came out.. she played two songs herself on the paino.. she is a great player.. than Paris and her sang together (best friends) then she left and Paris sang and that girl can dance!! she did an awesome job dancin it up!! =) then Bucky came out.. and sang two songs.. then Little Kellie Pickler came out and Bucky and her sang a song from Grease.. and that was the cutest thing ever.. she worked him!!! haha..

INTERMISSION!!!

Chris came out after intermisson.. rocked the stage.. i dont really care for rock.. but he did good.. Elliot came out and sang with Chris.. than a few on his own.. and he has a voice on him as well.. Then Ace, Chris, Bucky and Elliott sang Patience together.. then... OMG!! KATHARINE!!!

She came out and sat down.. while the lights were off.. one person started going I LOVE YOU KAT!! then screams filled the venue.. everyone yelling go kat!! wooohooo!! i was freaking out again!! she sand Black Horse and The Cherry Tree.. and she danced a bit.. but not to much you can do with a broken foot and a boot on!! haha.. but she did amazing.. then she talked a bit about her being sick and her vocal rest.. Then sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow.. my heart has offically been melted by her.. it was so amazing.. i thought it was good on tv.. WOW it gives me chills in person.. the man in front of me had to plug his ears i was screaming so loud.. and everyone was singing along.. and this little boy next to me was singing right along and freaking out with me.. absolutly amazing... i am without words..

Then Taylor came out.. right down my aisle.. touched my hand.. wasn't too excited.. but he sang for a while.. then left and everyone but Taylor and Kat came back out they sang we are the champions.. then They started singing Livin in America and i saw kat appear and i started screaming and then everyone else did.. then Taylor came back out.. they all started just dancing around and goofin off.. kellie and kat were have lots of fun just being themselves.. watching kellie and kat try to dance together mad me smile and laugh..

it was the most amazing concert and event i will ever go to in my life.. i never thought the would come when i would get to met Katharine and Kellie but it did.. and I wouldn't have had it any other way..
