I believe that anyone who gets to meet Kat is a very fortunate soul. You are definitely one of them! and believe me, i truly believe you are correct on that one! my only regret is that i didn't remember anything to say! ha i mean we chatted a bit--small talk at the table and all, but she was not there long--i think she was one of the first to jet, actually, but not until everyone had been taken care of who wanted to see her in there! i wanted to get a goofy pic with her...i like to do that, but i totally forgot...i am wondering now if i even said she did a great job out there--i mean i think i did because she said she hoped so, and that she was supposed to do "think" and then explained why she didn't and all but yeah...it's sort of a blur--but hopefully there will be a 2nd chance for me! praying

A shot of the famous sunglasses first witnessed at Graceland. Thanks again, for all the photos and recap. And thanks for helping out Akamissa with her pics. I like your pics too, A. I see that Kat mentioned to you that 'Think' was going to be the third song. I figured that the other night--and realized that she has to do the McBounce on that one, which has to be put on the McBackburner for the time being. Of course, there's probably other songs Kat could do without having to dance too much--even though her foot will probably be healed by next week already based on her walking a little better in these vids. She may figure that it'd be wiser to wait and do more until she's 100% vocally and footwise. If someone wasn't told that Kat had laryngitis or had a foot problem--and watched the video you provided from Tampa--most people would think that Kat was in excellent health. I've been consistently blown away from the purity of her voice on the tour. As others have said, that month-long vocal rest was really one of the best things that could have happened. It actually made her vocal purity better than it even was on 'AI.' And I hope Kat continues to preserve it if she ever has to. It's too rare not to take good care of it. For some reason, I kept thinking Tampa was tonight--but I think they had a day off today, didn't they? Kat looks stunning in your after party pics--and don't worry about saying anything overly meaningful at those things. There really isn't a chance to. All you really have time for is to....say "Hi" and ask what she thinks of the weather.

katharine06, when did you take that first pic? its sooo cute. And can you remember any of the things you can Kat talked about? What is she like in person besides the fact that she's beautiful?

that first pic was of us hanging out one day...HA j/k it was at the hotel before the show. and honestly, i wish to have another opportunity to chat with her because i truly didn't talk about much--she was talking more than i was--which is a first to those who know me! ha what i DO remember, i posted. i had things i wanted to talk to her about--ask her, praise her, etc, but i unfortunately didn't say any of it! i needed a videographer with me! she is VERY down to earth--she wasn't the whole, "ohhhh thank you so much for coming," blah blah...she was just chatting with us like we were pals--really cool girl. but did we ever doubt that? ;) Posted By KellyCoolige on 08/08/2006 9:59 PM katharine06, when did you take that first pic? its sooo cute.
