Hey Kat phans!Ok. So, I know this is a bit late, but it's here now, so I guess that's all that matters. I did start on it after I got back last night, but I started falling asleep at the computer so I decided to wait until today. So, we got to the Charlotte Bobcats Arena after a 1hr. 30min-ish drive and was taken to "our seats" by an usher. While we are waiting for the show to begin I hear someone say that Kellie Pickler's family is in the audience. So, I look around and sure enough I see Kellie's family 2 rows in front of us. A few minutes before the show was about to start, we were told that we were in the wrong seats and I was like "What?! no!" So we had no choice but to follow another usher who took us to our correct seats... which just so happened to be 2 rows up from where we had been sitting. So I ended up sitting right next one of Kellie's grandfathers! But I didn't know who he was at first b/c I had only seen Kellie's other grandpa from the media. So the show starts... and we all know the format and such of the show now so I'll spare you guys the details.Mandisa was excellent, no surprise there, but I was a little surprised at Ace's performance. He sounded better than what I remember from the show, and of course the girls LOVED him. Lisa was great. I loved that she played the piano. Paris, that girl's got some moves! I enjoyed Bucky's performance, it seems like his stage presence is growing. He said he was happy to be back in North Cakalaki. Kellie was awesome. She talked about how "this is a dream come true" and how she has to constantly pinch (pronounced 'peench' by kellie) herself to make sure everything's real, and thanked her fans. It was really sweet. Then it was time for intermission.Kellie's grandpa introduced himself to me and said that he's Kellie's grandpa from her mom's side and was like "yeah I had the bad daughter." And so we chatted for a bit and told me about how he had to push Kellie to go audition for "AI". And good thing he did, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten that great dedication from Kat to Kellie. Her grandpa was a really sweet man, and so was the rest of the Pickler clan. He also mentioned that her album's coming out in a few months...but not Nov. 14...As we all know, Chris performed after the intermission and his perfomance was amazing! He got one of the best reactions from the crowd. He was followed by Elliott. The guy's got a really, really great voice. And then...Kat took to the stage!!! It was all dark and you could hear the excitement in the air b/c a lot of people knew that Kat was about to let her beautiful voice fill the arena. Then came the "2, 3, 4!" and the crowd goes wild! People get up and start dancing and cheering. Her voice seems to be getting better. yay! The whole Pickler clan stood for most of her performance, which only happened one other time...during Kellie's performance, duh. Kat even gave Kellie a shout out in the middle of her BHATC performance. She was like, "Who's hometown is this? My favorite girl, Ms. Pickler!" and she continues with her awesome performance. After BHACT ends, as most of you have already seen, Kat talks about being in the south and in Kellie's hometown, and she gave away "a little secret" about how they disguise themselves in hoodies and sit in the front to watch the others perform. She brings Kellie up on stage and dedicates SOTR to her. Awww! Could Kat get any sweeter?! Who knows...she seems to be full of surprises. Oh, it's so great to be a Kat phan. Anyways, so she serenades Kellie with her beautiful and magical voice and ends up sitting w/ Kellie at the end of the stage. It was such a beautiful moment to witness. I can't imagine anything but goodness in this girl's heart. She never ceases to amaze me.She handled herself with such beauty and grace... it's just goes unparalled. There is truly nobody like our Kat. Her warmth could be felt all the way out in the audience. She's absolutely amazing! And after Kat, Taylor took the stage and got everyone up and out of their seats. Kat changed into a blue top for the finale, and after the group finale ended, I looked like she was limping off the stage, but I really hope it I was just seeing things (the McPheever does crazy things to a person). And when she came back on stage for the encore she seem O.K., but as she left the stage for the last time, it seemed like she was limping again. I really do hope it was nothing and that she's perfectly O.K.After the show, I went to look for the buses but there were none b/c it was parked in a garage so I just waited with the crowd that had gathered outside of the garage and hoped that they would stop to sign stuff. As I waited, I knew deep down that I was doing so in vain, but I kept waiting b/c I knew that if I left that I would probably regret it anyways. So I see Kat and the rest of the idols pull out and left. But I'm glad I waited, cuz now I know I didn't miss anything.I'm so glad that I was able to find tickets just a day before the concert, and 9th row nonetheless! I should Spontaneous more often.Pictures: not the best, but I tried.
