Thanks for the great recap of the concert. I really enjoyed it. Your soooo lucky that you got to meet Kat and get her autograph, hopefully it will happen to me when I go on September 23rd!!! Can't wait to see your pictures!!!!!

I am very grateful. Its a moment that Ill cherish for the rest of my life. The sight of KAT made my evening. The fact that she made it back in time for my concert was enough for me. And once again I send my congrats Jennie. You of all people deserve this KAT meeting! Kelly Mc.

The great thing about all the concerts thus far is how enthusiastic the Idols seem to be. You would think that it would start to get montonous for most of them to do the same performances night after night. That does NOT seem to be the case. They all seem to be connecting with the crowd quite effortlessly. Kellie is keeping the crowd in stitches with her down home humor, Paris with her dancing, Mandisa with her big and beautiful voice, Paris' piano playing, Chris just rocks out, etc....KAT adds to an already wonderful tour. Her melodic voice as well as her heartfelt performances of both Black Horse and Rainbow really makes me proud to have been there. In fact, I went there pretty much wanting just to see her. I left there thankful to have seen ALL of them. I would have regretted not going (if KAT hadn't been there). Every one of the Idols did very well and I will cherish the experience always. The great thing is that the tour will continue for another month and a half. All the Idols will pick up new fans along the way. I for one will definitely follow the career paths of each of them with new-found interest. They all bring special talents to the tour. They complement each other quite well with their different tastes in music. Its truly wonderful to see that diversity on this tour. Reading about Jennie's meeting with the Idols simply reinforces my respect for every one of them. Its tough enough to perform before skeptical judges every week (and millions of fans). It is truly liberating for them to see and interact with their fans around the country. They take the time to do autographs and just talk for a few minutes. Not many celebrities will do that. Kevin Covais did the same thing in Richmond. He could have gotten upset with being mobbed at the will call window by the fans. Instead, he took about twenty minutes in the hot Virginia sun to sign all the autographs and pose for all the pictures that fans wanted. I, for one, respected his patience and overall intelligence when I talked to him for a few minutes! If you have the opportunity to meet any of the Idols it will truly be a special moment. It was for me meeting Kevin. If you dont, the concert is worth every penny you spent for a ticket. The experience will be with you always. Its an awesome feeling to see and experience every sensation of this tour! Im so glad I went! Kelly Mc. KAT Pack #1281

Jennie - that was a lovely description of your adventure and I bet you are having that poster framed and hung over your bed now. Glad Kat was so nice. Sounds like Taylor, Ace, Lisa, Mandessa and Paris were all great signing your poster and tickets.

Hey, Jennie--I wanted to make comment on this the other night, but so many topics, so little time. Great review--though it makes me even madder at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland for fencing off the area where the tour buses park. It used to be wide open for things like what you did, but apparently there was some kind of unknown security breach that ruined it for the rest of us who have some sanity. Now it's just a giant chain-link fence around the area that you can't even see through. I'm hoping they've since removed it (though doubtful) so those of us without m&g's can at least try to talk to Kat and the others by the buses. If Kat wanted to videotape the fans outside, she may not be able to in Portland, OR. You review has great descriptions and will probably make most other people feel better who don't have m&g's or 'after-concert' passes. I also was impressed with the way Kat handled the crowds who undoubtedly swarmed her. From my past experiences, people try to push the person behind them out of the way just to get the autograph first or have first dibs at talking to the celeb. Sometimes the celeb will only pay attention to who pushes ahead. With Kat, I can tell she wants to make sure those who handed her something from way in the back gets it back. Kat gives equal time to everybody--and everybody else should take note. Thanks again for the good review. Hopefully I won't encounter a 'don't fence me in' problem in September.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason if you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, Let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy they just promised it would be worth it.
