On July 15th I had the chance to Meet and Greet the Idols. That is when I personally gave Kellie all the letters that we had written for Kat. She was more than happy to give them to Kat. She said, Kat's is dissappointed on missing out on the tour but that she is getting better and will be back soon. Ace chimed in and said "yeah don't worry Kat will be with us really soon." I gave Kellie a little gift to thank her for giving everything to Kat. Alright, so the line of fans that were there to meet the Idols was sooo long. The arena staff broke the lines up to like 20 people and sent us downstairs to a room for our Meet and Greet. I was lucky cause my friend and I were the last 2 people in our group so we weren't rushed as much as the people towards the front of the line. But let me warn who ever is going to a future one, the security people are not very nice at all. Very rude, just kept saying "you need to know our system and move quickly or you can leave." YOur only allowed 1 autograph per each Idol (I was able to sneak a couple from some of them) and You get to take a picture of them also. But you can't be in the picture with them. The Idols are all sitting next to each other behind a long table and the fans are on the other side. Kellie was the first one to meet- like I had already mentioned, she is very very sweet. Manidisa must have been resting her voice because she didn't say a word, she just smiled, gave me a thumbs up sign when I asked her how the tour was going for them, and she shook my hand. Paris also didn't talk she did the same as Mandisa. Lisa was awesome too, she looked sooo different for some reason I didn't recognize her at first. Then came Ace - he is soooooo gorgeous and was talking to me, I had mentioned how my sister couldn''t be here with me and he said whats her name- he wrote a note to her on a piece of paper that he had. Chris is another awesome guy, very cool. I was wearing my orange Katpack shirt that says "there is no cure for the McPheever" and he said to me "So how are you going to cured of that, what's the cure? I said well since Kat's not hear tonight I obviously won't be cured tonight. Bucky is a cool guy, my friend had a polaroid camera with her,- might have been first time he saw one- he was like that is such an awesome idea i would never of think to do some thing like that. He was thanking us for coming and saying he hopes we have a great time watching the show. Ellliot was really quiet, sweet but quiet. Taylor was sitting at the end of the table and he didn't even smile for the picture I took of him and really didn't say much. I was looking around the corner hoping Kat would appear but never happened. I definitely had a great time meeting all of them, they are a cool group of people. Ok so then , we left and since the doors to the arena didn't officially open till 6pm for the show we had to go outside and wait because it was only 5pm and the Meet and Greet was over. It really went quick. So, we're waiting outside on line to get back in again. There's media from the news there now. They loved my orange Katpack shirt (props to Candice- the shirt was a hit , I can't even begin to tell you the # of people that came up to me and said how awesome my shirt was). Awesome idea Candice.Ok back to the media,- I was filmed and on my local news , I also had signs made up in support of Kat- the reporters loved that as well.- [on the back of the shirt it says KATPACK], so all I hear is "hey KATPACK we need you again, bring your friend and have her hold a sing too."besides my local news the AMERICAN IDOL magazine crew reporters were there, and they also loved my shirt and my signs that I made up they took a couple of pictures of me and I will now be an upcoming issue of AMERICAN IDOL magazine.--- LOOK OUT FOR ME GUYS!!!!! So, as you can see I definitely had a great time (we can all agree it would of been 10x's better if Kat was there) and the concert didn't even start yet. I was ready to go home I was exhausted. Mandisa was the opener and she did an absolutely fantastic job. She dedicated another song to Ruben Studdard. and then sang with Ace. Everyone went crazy when he came out. He did really good. I have to say all of them did a really good job. I'm sure you all heard Bucky, Chris, Ace, and Elliot sing a song for Kat, and during it they show footage of her. During this, I' can feel the tears in my eyes, but I am now screaming, probably screeeching when they show her face. People around me probably thinking who let this nut in hear. Taylor makes his entrance from somewhere in the arena, I went 2 nights (different entrance spots both nights) but on my 2nd night, He entered write down my aisle- I sat in an aisle seat. At first all you hear is his voice singing and you don't know where he is and then a bright spot light shines on him, with his bodyguards by him I was screaming again AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! SInce this my first American Idol show that I attended , I guess it was a pretty good first experience, better if Kat was there. THAT IS WHY I JUST PURCHASED TICKETS TO THE SEPTEMBER 23RD SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! CAUSE I REALLY NEED TO SEE KAT IN CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you all enjoy my recap.- MELISSA
