Hello my dear Katttt!!! It's been a while since my last letter, I guess because writing is not my thing (and in English it gets even worst) but I'll try to seize the opportunity before you become a superstar and don't have time to even read the newspaper. You must be really exhausted now that the tour is coming to an end. Exhausted but pleased!. Thanks God you have such great and kind fans who were able to record your performances during the tour and shared them with all of us. You have no idea how much it means to international fans. By the way, you were incredible in those, with you voice back 100% apart from the broken foot haha!!!... I'm so looking forward to your first CD. The other day I was watching the "Somos novios" video of the JC Penny Jam concert with my aunt and she was delighted with you and she asked me where she could get your CD and I told her that you hadn't released a CD yet but we could get them through a friend of my grandma who lives in Santa Monica and he's coming in November (I'm not sure what day exactly so hopefully after November 14th -I think this is the day of the release) so he could buy them. Otherwise we'd get them through amazon, but don't worry I'll do anything to have them (Don't know why I spent so much time talking about how to buy the CD, sorry!). By the way, I was so thrilled when I heard you sing in Spanish, your pronunciation was really good in that song, muy bien Kat, and you didn't forget the lyrics, hehe . Here in Argentina they're airing latinoamerican idol, although there are good singers is not exciting because you're not there. Well Kat, I think that's all for today. I hope you keep having fun in the tour and keep making people happy. Thanks for being such a wonderful human being. PS1: I was wondering: What did you do with the thousand roses? Note to Co: Apologies for not making the deadlines on the previous two deliveries--but it's been a time-draining couple of weeks for me on getting personal project done. However, I plan to write one final one of these to be delivered on whatever date that will be...assuming there'll be one more delivery. I'm going to tie up the tour satires along with mention of the Portland show all in one so Kat will have that on permanent record. And I'll get it here by this weekend, unless there's a deadline sooner. Hopefully Kat's had time to read these a little on the bus--though I think she's truly waiting to read all of them after the fact. It'll give her an opportunity to see how we were thinking during the tour itself. How my little ruminations on touring will fare when she's long removed from the bus, I don't know, but it's still a snapshot of what she went through. Now that I think of it--I should have written something about the bad smells on the bus (that Kat mentioned recently)--since that's probably worse than the potholes. Anyway, combining a note about the concert in Portland is mandatory for me, so it'll mostly focus on that. But I hope she's read most of our concert reviews here.

Yes, go ahead and post something this weekend, there will be another delivery next Saturday and your letter will tie into this thread's particular theme. Since I'm a metrics person, I plan to include a quick summary of some fun statistics and then will probably have this thread locked so people won't add anymore letters to it. Also, by the time Kat gets the next delivery, the tour will be over . . . so I'm going to start a new post with a different theme on the lines of "Well wishes" as our Ms. Kat embarks on her own. I will get that posted later today and include a link on this thread . . . right now I've gotta get back to whistling while I work.

Dear Katharine I’ve not been able to go and see the concerts, because I live on the other side of the world. Luckily there are a lot of fans in the US who went to them, and they could tell me and all the other International fans about how you were doing. And as far as I’ve heard, you are doing absolutely fantastic! I think of you while I’m sitting in my living room and watching back my taped episodes of American Idol. I love every single one of your performances. And I hope that I too will be lucky enough to meet you someday. Who knows what the future holds? Maybe one day you’ll come to Sweden or some country nearby. I’ve wrote to you before and I know this is not much new from what I wrote last time. So I guess what I’m trying to say here is… You are simply amazing. When I think about it, one year ago I didn’t even know who you were. And today, you are my American Idol, and soo much more. Dear Katharine, Wow. That’s all I seem to be able to say lately. You never cease to amaze me. I remember sitting on my couch way back when auditions for American Idol Season 5 were airing, and seeing this girl named Katharine McPhee walk up and start singing. When you had finished, I sat there and said out loud, “She’s the next American Idol.” Wow. You’re voice blew me away then, and it still does. This is my first time writing to you, so this may get long because I have a lot to say. haha. I appreciate and love you so much for everything you have done. It took a tremendous amount of courage to go public with your bulimia. I admire that so much. Even though I’m a guy, I struggled with a bit of a weight issue myself. You’ve been very inspirational to me and it was you that introduced me to Intuitive Eating. I’m amazed how well the program works. Thank you so much for sharing your story. You are truly changing lives. I know it was tough on you with being sick an having to miss part of the tour. Just always remember that we (the Kat Pack) are always here for you if you need us. As we like to say, the Kat Pack has Kat’s back. Anyway, you probably don’t remember me because I’m not really someone that would stand out in anyone’s mind, but I met you in Nashville, TN at the meet and greet before the show. I asked you to sign an orange Kat Pack shirt. That was such an amazing day for me. Getting to meet you and then see you sing live in my city. Wow. I couldn’t ask for more. Your voice was incredible that night, as it always is. Because of you, thousands of people have been united across the world as Kat fans. There is a pretty big group of us that chat each night through AIM, and we met because we’re all huge fans of you and your talent. Dear Katharine, My name is Alicia,but u can call me Alex. I am a huge fan not as big as some people on this site but still a pretty big fan. I am 12yrs old. I don't know if u remember me or not but i was holdin up a sign that said "WE heart KATHARINE". I want u to know tha u r my idol. When i am older i want to be a dentist in Cali and i hope i get to meet u when i am. U have perfect teeth ,and a beautiful smile. As for me im not as lucky i have braces. Hopefully my teeth will look as good as urs one day.I think u should have won i am mad at Taylor. On the last night of American Idol i grabed my teddy bear for comfort and changed the channel to fox. When Ryan Seacrest said that Taylor won i started to cry,threw my teddy bear at the t.v,and ran upstairs. My mom told me not to cry but i didn't listen to her. I cryed for about three weeks and then found out that even though u didn't win we still think u will be more succsessful then Taylor. I hope u reply to this i am going to mail a copy to ur fan club in hopes that u get it just in case.I saw u in concert when u came to Georgia both times.I bought ur somewhere over the rainbow/my destiny single cd the day it came out. I can't wait for u to put out and album, and go out on tour to support it. I love Broadway and hopefully u will get to fulfill ur dream by working on it. Maybe i will get to see u.
