Thanks so much for the information! I was about to ask for everyone's help because I know that in the past, some of our members have corresponded with Peisha. Anything we can supply will give us a better chance to get coverage for Katharine. I knew that dropping that "tidbit" about Kat's folks meeting in Denver would get attention.
I want to "persuade" Joanne to take as many photos as possible of Kat. I couldn't understand what she meant when she said that she would "try" to get a shot of her. I mean, Katharine's performing! Wouldn't you think that the photographers from the Denver Post would have the latest in camera equipment to take shots from far away and then blow them up? I've said before that I am the furthest thing from a "media guru" but heck, even I have a digital camera that has a telephoto lense!
Anyway, if need be (because sometimes my Kat site responses don't show up for quite a while) I'm giving everyone my personal email address. ... kathypaul31@msn.com. That way, I'll be sure to get information as quickly as possible.....in case katharinesfans goes down, etc.
When I send the information to Joanne, I may try to get her to email or mail me the photos they don't select to use in the article in the Denver Post. If we are the ones to gather the information for her to make her article more interesting, then I feel she owes us at least that! I can always scan them and upload them to our site. Wouldn't it be great if she meets Kat and tells her about our efforts on her behalf? Gee, it's a dream but maybe she could get an autograph for us as well!

She's pretty busy and usually responds briefly but...she does respond which I find wonderful and amazing!! Really no more details on Dan PS...I just wrote to her again and asked if they met at that college, I'll get a reply hopefully and will pass that on!

One would think that the reporters would have more of an idea of where to look for this kind of info than we do!
The reporter from CW2 TV emailed me again this morning asking if I could please contact the PR people for both David Foster and Kat to see if he can set up an interview! I think it's a bit late to do that even if I knew where to begin the search!!
So, now I guess I'll put my "investigative hat" on again and see what I can find out about the PR companies for David and Kat.

You have been so very helpful! I'm afraid that I tend to agree with you about the time issue. Even if I can contact the PR people for Kat and David, they will already have their traveling arrangements confirmed and I feel that Kat at least, won't be arriving until Saturday. David might be in tomorrow to set up the orchestra but the time is too short to schedule the Early Morning Show appearance.
I still find it curious that the media is depending on me to supply them with the information! After all, it's their business to be aware of these things! With the Democratic Convention here next year they had better get on the ball with this type of planning for interviews, etc.

I totally agree. You've totally gone above and beyond with this fruitful endeavor, when nobody would've begrudged you if you had just watched things unfold passively. I think there will be more newspaper coverage, all because of you! I confess that when you started working the media outlets, I thought nothing would come out of it, but you nearly got Kat on TV! (Here's to hoping she & the TV station would be willing to do a satellite interview.)
