I know this is a late recap -but maybe better late thatn never? --- I spent last week in the N. Y. area to see Kat perform at Six flags New England and to go to Momma P's shows .
As you have heard from other reports, Kat had another awesome concert performance until the sound track decided not to cooperate during Open Toes. After Kat sang, we went to an area where we hoped Kat would come out and sign autographs etc., Someone asked Dorian about it, and we were surprised and so happy when he brought her out and she came right over to us. At first there weren't many people there so she was moving down the line signing things and talking to the six of us. When she got to me I was so excited because she knew who I was and she said --Hey Linda -where did you come from? When I told her Washington State-she said -you mean you came all of the way to L.A. to see me when I met you before? We discussed that a bit and she signed my pic with her from seeing her at Kimmel. She kept moving back and forth down the line discussing things and signing things. By then there was a large crowd so she signed all kinds of unusual things for everyone. It was so crowded , we couldn't even move back to let others to the front. Then she came back to take pics with each of us. I gave her a present I had brought for Nena, and she gave me a big high five when something came up about how early we had left that morning to come see her.. We were all so excited about getting to meet up with her!
Thurs. night we went to Momma P.'s show and she was really good! Of course she sings a different type of music than Kat does. After the show she talked to us quite a while and we took pics etc. She is the sweetest person!
Friday night was really a lot of fun. I had a chance to talk to Kat quite a bit before the show, and she knew my name etc. again. We talked about it being my first trip to N. Y. and how busy her schedule had been etc etc. .and we had a pic taken. Momma P. had a huge, very receptive crowd that night and you could really tell she was really enjoying performing. After the show I met Nick and Adriana. and both were very nice and friendly. I had a pic taken with Adriana. I had a chance to talk briefly with Kat before she left, and it was great that night to have spent time with her in such a casual -relaxed atmosphere.
Sat. night Momma P. had another great show. Afterwards she talked to us and we had another pic taken with her. -----I can certainly say the McPhees are really wonderful, very special people.!! ----Linda
Hey Linda! I guess I haven't been in this folder for a while cuz I'm just now seeing this! Thanks for posting your recap! Glad you had such a great time!
