Well, lets just say that yesterday was the LONGEST, HOTTEST day ever!!!!!
It all started for me by waking up at 445am ... then Melissa came to my house at 6am, then we were off to NYC to pick up Laurie, Elphie & Linda. We continued on our drive to MA ... and arrived at Six Flags at 10am.
Basically the day involved riding one ride (Superman) and sitting in line waiting for the concert. Not that it mattered really because the people in the back just ran up and beat the people who had been there all day to the front Steph and I wound up right in front to the right side of the stage though
So the concert starts and we are listening to Relient K - I don't even know or CARE who they are. Then its time for Kat!!!! Kat comes on and starts singing Love Story. Now I'm trying to video this and she comes over to our side and shes soo close and Steph and I start waving...the camera goes crazy and I didn't get the entire kat waving back at us I did get the wave in Over It and Mary Jane. She also smiled when she saw us singing "Jeans all black, hair slicked back, baseball cap" ... it was soo cute Ok so we all know what happened during her performance, so I'll just skip to the autograph
So as soon as her performance is over, we head over to the radio tent. We ask the radio guy if she will be coming out, he has no clue . So then guess who we see walking - DORIAN!!! So of course we are like this now and we call him and he says she's not coming out, but he laughs!!! I was soo mad!!! So he goes back in the tent and a few minutes later, I see that purple dress through the mesh of the tent. I start freaking out, "OMG KAT IS COMING OUT" then "OMG KAT IS COMING OVER" then "OMG KAT IS RIGHT HERE" ... then Kat goes to me "You are soo sunburned, where was your sunscreen" - she is waving her finger at me too!! I was like "I know, its bad". Then she starts signing autographs and she's able to take her time at first because there weren't many of us there. But there more and more people showed up.
So when she gets to my autograph she starts writing "TO" and I'm like OOH NO, what name will it be today. But she didn't call me anything other than Jennifer ... she added "I don't know why I always call something else." I say "It's ok, you always get it right" (yes I am STUPID). So she continues to sign and writes "Much Love" and then goes "again" and underlines it 3 times . She was giggling while writing it, it was really funny.
So I ask for a photo and she's like let me go sign some other stuff and I'll be back. Well at this point the crowd has formed behind us and they are pushing me into the fence. I couldn't even move and felt like I was going right over the fence. I wanted to let someone else come up, but the people behind us just kept flinging stuff over us. It was fustrating. Anyways ... Kat kept walking back and forth and just kept talking to us the entire time, honestly I felt like she was treating us more like friends than fans - it was quite awesome.
Then she finally heads back over to take a photo and it was a double flash and she moved before the second, so shes a little blurry. But she goes "Did I mess it up??" Then goes "It's ok, you have like a million pictures with me". She was giggling and then she WINKED at me, it was soo cute!!! She was joking around with everyone soo much, it was great.
Well, thats pretty much it. I posted the videos I took. I don't have photos yet, but I will soon!! I do have my autograph with the "again"
