That's an interesting show.  To tie together Mother's Day with an all-girls concert.  Kat, Fergie, Hilary Duff, Lily Allen and more.  Funny that she's with a lot of the same people at some of these shows.

KISS 106.1 Girls' Night Out: Fergie, Hilary Duff, Lily Allen & Katharine McPhee

All hail Fergie! The Duchess returns to the Everett Events Center to headline the KISS 106.1 FM Girls’ Night Out this Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13th at 7 pm. The Duchess, her debut solo album, saw the Black Eyed Peas vocalist step out on her own with the hits “London Bridge” and “Fergielicious”.

 

Everett Herald’s review of the Black Eyed Peas sold out performance in May of 2006 at the Everett Events Center lauded Fergie’s performance: “Rapper Will.I.am played the role of emcee and served most of the lyrics throughout the evening, but all eyes were on singer Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson wherever she went. Monday night, she prowled the stage in a teal and white, bejeweled track suit with a thick gold chain around her neck….The Black Eyed Peas set the crowd wild with their theatrics, back flips, break dancing and Will and Fergie's back-and-forth play throughout the night, including the song "Shut Up."

 

Already a film and television star with the Lizzie McGuire series, Disney’s sensation Hilary Duff has taken the music charts by storm. Her debut album Metamorphosis hit #1 on the Billboard charts and went on to sell more than two million copies with the #1 hit “So Yesterday” besting MTV’s TRL countdown. Her latest album, Most Wanted, also debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 charts. The teen icon’s shows are always sell outs.

 

Lily Allen, the 21-year old Londoner, “writes pop songs, rooted in ska and rap with cheeky rhymes” (Rolling Stone) has already taken the UK by storm and is now blowing up stateside with her album, Alright, Still. Her sassy take on breakups, steeped in reggae and rap influences, make her a true original.

 

Katharine McPhee, the American Idol runner-up in the fifth season, has been singing and acting since she was a child. After the American Idol finale, McPhee signed to RCA and released a debut album, the first single debuting at #2 on the charts. She’s honed her touring chops with the American Idols Live! Tour and performed with Andrea Bocelli. Her most recent single, “Over It”, hit #1 on the MTV TRL in March.

Yes -this is only about a week from now -and I'll be there. I'm so excited to see her perform again and hopefully meet her somehow! Since she has many relatives here, hopefully I will have something interesting to include in my review. Linda

They have added Jubal and the Ball Flaggs (Jubal will be in drag)to the Girls Night Out Concert here Sunday May 13th--and SANJAYA will be the guest host for this group--

From what I understand Sanjaya will not be hosting the whole concert -just the guest host for Jubal and the Ball Flaggs --but who knows what might really happen--
