Hey, Guyz, don't be too disappointed. This could mean that she got hooked up to a tour for that time and a tour is certainly a priority. There are only a few reasons why a concert is ever canceled. Those reasons are illness, poor ticket sales (too early to determine) and conflicting committments. They should be sharing the news with us SOON!

My initial reaction was, "Oh no, she must not have been selling well!" but since it was way too soon to know that I agree that this probably means she's gotten to go on tour with someone and it will conflict. She just mentioned that she had her fingers crossed that a certain artist would let her go on tour with them. Wonder who it is? I've got my fingers crossed for her too, lol!! I'm dying to see her perform live in the NY/NJ area. This part of the country adores Kat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katharine ALWAYS makes sure that we know exactly what is happening, so we have to be patient for the news. She has said that she would be announcing news about a tour around the end of March.

ME 2.....FRONT AND CENTER!!!  Even if she does do another concert with a BIG NAME - what's the likelihood that we'll get front row center again???? And - what's the likelihood that SHE'LL be the MAIN feature (ie sing for 2 hrs!!!)......I'M STILL SOOOOOOO DEPRESSED.....

She wouldn't have been performing for 2 hours at Del Mar.  She doesn't have enough material to perform for that long.  She'd probably have done 45 minutes or so.

To me it's obvious that the reason they cancelled this is because it conflicted with a soon-to-be announced tour with a MAJOR artist who she is opening for.  There's no way it would be because of ticket sales three months before the show was going to go on.  I mean this SD show never even showed up on anything Kat endorsed (her web site, MySpace, etc.) so it was obviously tentative the whole time.
