One point for getting the elimination pick right and obviously if you have the same person in both spots and you are right…you’ll get the maximum three points this week. And here comes Greg at the 11th hour again, out of breath from a million things going at once (plus getting tax crapola ready to go for tomorrow)... So, this is it as far as posting today, but I'll be back later in the week to make comment on other stuff going on...

As you notice, I changed my elimination pick based on how last week's show gave evidence of who has the biggest fanbases. I think Kristy Lee Cook is safe (for a while) thanks to loyal voters willing to dial until their finger(s) bleed. Amanda has that contingent of fans who go for girls with sandpaper voices. Those gritty rock voices hit it off with rebellious types of people out there. So she'll be around I think, though likely won't make the Top Five.
That leaves Ramiele who gets weaker each week it seems. She's not bad (and she'll probably have success elsewhere)--but she's probably the weakest link at the moment.
I also have to note the different spellings here of Amanda's last name. We're seeing everything from "Overmeyer" to "Overmayer." Even I was guilty of putting the "e" in there last week. But it's apparently "Overmyer." Amazing that her last name won't live up to the irony of going home...
Pool Players . . . come out, come out wherever you are, the Tuesday deadline is approaching and only 6 selections are in. You know what they say, "Ya Snooze, , Ya Lose"
Well, you're up to 12 now by my count as we approach the deadline. We've got 19 people with ballots filled out so 12 for 19 isn't too bad. Hopefully we'll get a few more in before the show starts tonight. I'll return with the results tomorrow night!

AI is a place to show you've got the moxie to fight and you fight with your last ounce of pulp in you.
It just hit me that the winner of AI could not be any of the following:
too sweet, too soft, too tender, too scared, too shy, too awkward, too nice, too pretty, too good, too different
but rather, a little -- spunky, stubborny, coarse, versatile, gritty, and taking risks -- besides being current, relevant and having great vocals.
In all fairness, I think any of tthese top 10 could actually win AI but then they have to be scrutinized further for issues they may be harboring and now is the best time to lay them all out in the open. Don't get me wrong, I like them all. I think they're all talented but there are certain characteristics that could come in the way of their being an effective winner. So, we would look closely into these things and make a more sound deduction.

OK...Amanda goes home in 11th place and it wasn't great for my picks as I would have been better off with Kristy Lee going away but I'd rather listen to KLC than Amanda so I'm happy from that standpoint. I'll save the rest of my thoughts for a separate post or maybe Mattsie's usual thread...but Carly in the Bottom 3? Reminded me of when Kat was in the bottom during Top 10 week with Lisa. At least they didn't make it really dramatic and have her next to Amanda at the last moment. Poor thing. I thought she was the best of the night this week.
Anyway...your results! Our four-way tie at the top is now a three-way tie between KMF Master Bill, Mattsie & Misty. The other person that used to be in the group is now tied for 6th.
Oh and as Co said in a previous post...if you don't get in your elmination pick for the week it will default to what you picked on your ballot. Which is OK if that person is still in the competition but as we go along here that possibility will get less and less so...get those picks in by Tuesday afternoon people! I'm going to list who you all have in 10th next week so you know ahead of time without having to look back...here's the new scoreboard:
