OK, here's your results after Week 1. It's pretty simple at this stage. One point for each correct elimination pick. It gets a little more complicated once we hit Top 12. Not for you guys, all you have to do is fill out a Top 12 ballot and then keep up with the elimination picks every week...it gets more complicated for me with my scoring system. But the system worked out well last year after we worked out the kinks. I might try to explain it when we get to that point if I can. You can always look at last year's thread to see how things developed. Have I mentioned I won yet?

So 11 returners and 4 new players at the moment. I can't believe I missed so badly on Colton. I had him ranked 7th with the guys. I was choosing between Chikezie, Garrett, Luke & Jason Y for my bottom two...I never considered Colton. Hmm...at least I got the girls right. Then again so did just about everyone else.
Hey all - Everyone can still join up. There's plenty of time to catch up on points, and we may throw in some bonus rounds with trifecta selections, etc. similiar to the Divine 9 - we shouldn't have that scenario again, but we'll throw in some fun stuff throughout giving people a chance to score bonus points. Afterall, this is like our own casino - The CoJo Club, come on down and have some fun. I'm looking into some prizes too, so if peeps have something to donate (AI CD mixes, Taylor Hicks CDs, giftcards, American Idol memorbilia, etc) let the Commissioner know. The hosts will contribute some prizes and probably our host sponsor. Modfather Billy.

Well for my own sense of pride (since I only got one right this week), I'd like to say that 3 of the 4 to leave were in my bottom four for each gender. So I would have gotten them this week. I need to try and wait for more of you to vote first so I can crib off you. I didn't pick Joanne but might have if I'd seen how many of you picked her. But Colton was in my top six for guys! One of you brilliant people said being boring is worse than being horrible and I thought Colton and Danny were entertaining and much more "keepable" than the technically good but boring guys in the middle of the pack. And were Amanda and Chikezie really in the bottom three? Or was that just for dramatic effect?
