Sneaking onto the AI soundstage: Standing on the judges platform and 1) Saying "Yo Dawg" in Randy's Mic; 2) "You Look Beautiful" in Paula's mic; and 3) Standing on the same stage as Katharine McPhee! Both V & I went on the stage, I stood in the American Idol circle and pretended I was an American Idol contestant. It was so cool being on that stage, we snuck backstage for a minute too just to soak in the whole experience. (NOTE: There was a guy in the back observing us, but let us have our fun, he didn't say a word, which was very cool).

I hear ya Shina, she does look like the sweetest thing. I remember Phil's auditiion and the birth of his baby, the family angle's working for him - it definitely made for good TV and that's what AI loves; however, Phil's run should be coming to an end soon. Phil just doesn't have the "It" factor and I would have much rather had Sundance and AJ still in the competition instead of Phil and Sanjaya.
It's funny when you think back to the "Sundance Shocker" elimination, the judges thought for sure Sundance would be a major contender and then Sanjaya won his spot. AI has been a whole different season with Sanjaya in the Top 12. We all thought he would be gone in the semi-final rounds, but he keeps hanging on, he's definitely "the little contest that could" - thanks to Howard Stern, Dial Idol and teeny bops.
A quick update for Pool Participants
Good job selecting your Divine Nine before the deadline! Those of you that include your particpant # with your screen name get a gold star , so thank you for doing that - it makes it a lot easier. There's only two participants that need to post their selections: Big Shady and sirdoug - so, get on it or 50 lashes with a Taylor Hicks CD for you!
Prizes? - I posted something last week on this thread, asking for your feedback on doing weekly prizes and an overall prize for the winner; however, no responses. Sometimes I feel like I'm speaking to a wall, so please let me know if ya'll may be interested in doing this (click here for more details - Page 23).
E-mail addresses - I sent an e-mail via KMF to the individuals who's e-mail address I am lacking and also posted your screen name on this post. (Page 24) I'm trying to put together an e-mail group to keep all participants informed, etc., so please drop me a quick reply with your e-mail address.
