About Syesha's being in the bottom 3, it's possible that the fans didn't vote as much because they thought that she is the contender anyway, as announced by Randy. I think this is the plot of AI when they want to throw off someone, they will give an unusual praise, then drop them. Whereas, if they keep on picking on someone, it is to get the attention of the voters to vote for their idol so as not to be eliminated or be in the bottom 3, unless, of course, the obvious is the case.

With the Beatles just done, Season 7 might be the toughest season of all with tough songs to sing.

Dolly Parton is the guest mentor next week. Are they to sing just any country song? or only songs written by DP? I'm sure it's any country song.

Here are the Neil Diamond songs I love: September Morn, Sweet Caroline, Love on the Rocks, You Don't Bring Me Flowers.

Andrew Lloyd Webber songs: (musical theater) should have been part of season 5. Who would shine doing -- Sunset Boulevard, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Woman in White, Jesus Christ Superstar, Starlight Express, Whistle Down the Wind, The Beautiful Game, By Jeeves, and Cats?

Mariah Carey's songs: I hope most of the girls are still around by the time Mariah mentors.

Frankly, I want to see talent and could care less if they have previous experience or even if they had past record deals. - awwhy, mjsbigblog.com

Even though I am rooting for her, I was kind of expecting Ramiele to go tonight, but kinda surprising, she didn't even make the bottom three; guess the Pinoy folks are really voting a storm to keep her there. I personally thought she was the weakest last night, but anyhow, I'm still relieved to see her stay there. Come on girl, show us what you got next week! Blow us all away!

And on another note, though I'm sad to see Chikezie go, I got it right again this week! Two in a row!

ALL YOU HATERS AND BASHERS, TAKE HEED!!!

I'm confused on what Syesha's problem is getting votes.  I thought Syesha & Michael were the top two this week with David C & Carly very closely behind.  All four were excellent.  Those four plus Brooke are the five I really enjoy.  And I must say...I do find myself liking Kristy Lee more each week (, Mattsie)...the ones I'd like to see go are Jason & Ramiele right now.  They are just boring to me.  That would leave us with my favorite five, KLC and the evil force that is Archuleta!  AHHHH!

As for DC's charisma "problem"...I don't think Daughtry was all that warm and fuzzy during Idol either and it worked out OK for him.  I'd have to go back and watch Chris' performances again to remember if he was as good as Mr. Cook has been.  It's easy to forget these things.  Sometimes it's good to go back and watch Katharine's performances again and remember why she was so special (she still is of course).  All I remember about S5 was I had Katharine & Chris from Top 24 week onward as my Top 2...unfortunately we didn't have a pool then...I think Elliott would have been my constant pick to go home from about Top 8 on (after Bucky left).  I appreciate Mr. Yamin more now than I did then.

I think I've said this before but I'm rooting for a Carly & David C finale.  It would kind of be the Kat & Chris one we never got (Carly is pregnant just like Kat was).  They could do some fun things with them.  Remember the rumor about Kat & Chris doing "Broken" together...Carly & David could do it.

If this works how I want it this is how it'll finish:  #1 AHHHHHHHHHH!  Can I have it be a tie with Carly & DC?  #3 Brooke  #4 Michael  #5 Syesha  #6 Archuleta  #7 KLC  #8 Ramiele  #9 Jason.  That's what I'm rooting for.

Alright, our latest scoreboard sees a new leader!  For the second consecutive week, Shinamarih was perfect with her picks moving up from a fourth-place tie into solo first place by two points.  Other movers are our other two contestants who picked Chikezie for 10th place, Commissioner Co & Pakatfan!  Both moved up four spots on the scoreboard.

The only other player other than Shinamarih to get Chikezie right as an elimination pick was Collette, who doubled her point total and moved up from 16th to 13th for the year.

I continue to move down the ladder and am not defending my title very well.  The spirit of Jordin Sparks needs to come bless me with better picks.  I just don't have it this year I guess.  Here's the board...

Congratulations to Shinamarih for being the new leader of this pool!!

On another note, I should not have put Jason Castro on my bottom 3 to go if I have only known his birthday is March 27th. Even if I was leaning towards Ramiele, I honestly believed she was not leaving yet, but I like Chikezie's voice and I was kinda opposed to sending him home yet, however, he was my first choice to go on top 10th spot.

There is a foreboding sense of "reversal of fortune" in the coming weeks with regards to the contestants' fate. Our previous predictions have now been replaced by a different kind of prognosis, with David Cook being now the front runner. Now that KLC has survived, proving she could blow Simon out of his socks, and still is expected to pull through the country week, her niche -- and also, having sent Carly, Syesha, and Jason to the bottom 3 already, although they survived elimination -- time only tells us who's next in line to be in the bottom 3 who hasn't been there yet or will visit there again. So far, Kristy seems resilient and she is actually improving as Paula said, and more people are starting to like her. Her song choice of GBTUSA is being hailed as the smartest song choice ever!! KLC is not g
