Never say NEVER!  Kat needs more Louis Vuitton, Chanel and BMW's, hee, hee. And she wants to do it all. She wants to sing Top 40 like Christina, Norah, Mariah and make movies  like Julia R. and work with  these superstars David Foster, Babyface, Austin Carroll, James Washington, Nate Hills, Walter A, Billy Steinberg, Harvey Mason, Jr. under the guidance of Whitney's director, Clive Davis.  Hey, what's not to like about this super platinum team.  Gooooooo  Kat!
We are definitely working together -- working on a record together. She sings so magnificently, it's just amazing -David Foster-

Wow! Not to be mean, but I'm actually REALLY happy to see Taylor's number's because it's conferming my theroy that he wouldn't last long. hehe. I can't wait to see how Kat's album does! I bet it will go platinum in a very short period of time! I hope so!

Katharine's initial sales will not be as high as Taylor or Chris because of her release date.  Well, if she is close to those guys...look out, we've got an even bigger hit than we realize on our hands.  But it's about sustaining it.  Being in the Top 50 album sales for a year...getting that bounce when a new single drops, etc, etc.

And Taylor...right now doesn't look to be sustained the initial pre-Christmas rush at all.  I guess we'll have an even better idea when we see this week's numbers.  It just amazes me that you'd release an album without a single on the radio first.  Kellie, Chris & Katharine had singles out...Kellie even had a music video ready for everyone...I believe Katharine will as well.

I just don't get the promotional philosophy for Taylor.  You need to hit people everywhere.  Radio is very important.  Not everyone watches talk shows in the afternoon or late at night.

Because Taylor is the reigning American Idol, his label and his fans had higher expectations for CD sales. They released a 3-song preview of his album on his website well in advance of the release, bought TV ads and had him booked on talk shows. It appears that they didn't think a pre-album single was necessary, and that proved to be a mistake in promotional strategy. They are investing alot of money in an extensive national tour and they are calling "Runaround" his single. Taylor may end up fulfilling expectations after all is said and done.'
