Carrie sang the national anthem at the MLB All-Star Game last night.  She looked so beautiful.  I want her dress!  One of the straps that went around her neck said "American" and the other said "National" (the name of the leagues in baseball), so Carrie wasn't playing favorites.

She also sang really well.  I think that was one of the best renditions of the anthem that I've heard.  I don't like it when singers drag out the notes at the end or whatever.  You can make it your own without doing that and that's what Carrie did.

So I was pleasantly surprised to see Carrie singing the anthem when I was watching the game.  Who knows?  Maybe Kat will sing it next year as I believe the game will again be on Fox.

Carrie sang the anthem very well. She sang it "straight", nothing fancy...just the way it should be sung.
