That one picture of the entire group is funny.  Amanda doesn't look real excited to be alive at that moment.

And I think Kristy Lee looked her best so far last night on the results show.  I'm still not sure exactly what it is that sometimes leads to you not being able to see her eyes but...

Joe, I agree with you on Amanda's demeanor. Shocked, I guess, just frozen.

Kristy Lee's blue eyes are not very big, and we don't see them because she rarely looks into the camera, kinda shy, and I kinda like it that way. She knows that she could be accused of playing the camera if she behaves so and that's why she avoids being on the spotlight too soon. Pretty girls get the most ridiculous accusations, believe me. I often think they are discriminated against for how they look and so much underappreciated for what they know, and as if they have to be subjected to too much harshness of comments before they could deserve something, which they might have already owned in the first place. If that is not ignorance, it's surely discrimination. (You may say I'm way beyond me on KLC, but you gotta excuse that. I can't help but defend the girl. I feel for her.)

What it is that sometimes leads to you not being able to see her eyes is that feeling of incredible curiosity as to when you will be able to. So, gotta stick around because I'm sure you will, one day. She keeps a low profile. She stands in the back of the shorter girls like a big sister, and she is, at 24, along with Brooke, Carly, and Amanda. She looked her best Thursday night, wearing a green top. Her group song part "it's a heartache" is great- loved it. She's so pretty that it's almost kinda weird to realize she's very talented as well.

What it is that leads you to think she's got it and she's gonna get it all is the reality that must not be overlooked or ignored because she deserves a fair share of the pie, in as equally a manner as everyone else is given the chance for because, after all, she is in for the fight. I kinda know where you're coming from. We'll talk about it again.

Frankly, I want to see talent and could care less if they have previous experience or even if they had past record deals. - awwhy, mjsbigblog.com

I mean we know all about the things people say about the pretty girls on this show.  We've been through that song and dance with the beautiful woman that this site is dedicated to so...and we all know how well she sings even though some still won't give her credit for it even in the face of Grammy award winners telling them how wonderful a talent she is.  Sooo...that tells you a lot.

What strikes me about Kady imparticular is that I've listened to her demo songs quite a bit and they show how talented she is.  Then you've got her behind-the-scenes clips where she's charming, engaging and talented...and she gets on stage and it just hasn't been there for whatever reason.

Anyway...I'm hoping for a Carly, Syesha, Ramiele, Brooke, Kristy Lee and Kady final six girls in the Top 12.  That would give you a little bit of everything.

Carly -- the powerful rock/pop voice somewhat reminiscent of what Kelly Clarkson has turned into.

Syesha -- a powerful R&B/pop/soul voice that reminds me of a little more mature version of Jordin.  She still hasn't picked the right song.

Ramiele -- I'm not sure how to classify her but she's interesting and that's a good thing.  That performance last week threw me off a little.  I think she's more of a ballad singer but we'll see.

Brooke -- our resident folk/pop singer.  Reminds me a little bit of early Jewel.  Maybe she'll sing "Who Will Save Your Soul" somewhere along the line.  That seems like a good song for her.

Kristy Lee -- should embrace her country side because it'll make her distinct in this group.  And if she does it well, she'll be nicely positioned to last.

Kady -- she's the most traditional pop singer of the bunch even though her voice is a little different from the typical pop singer.  I like to hear her do a modern song...I know it's hard when they force you to do 60's & 70's songs...

The other two left...I don't really have a problem with Asia'h, it's just...her voice is a little rough and compared to the other six, I don't think she should make it to the Top 12.  And then Amanda...I shouldn't say anything else.  I've made my point in other threads...

"I saw Katharine McPhee when there were about 12 contestants left on American Idol. She blew me away. I loved her grace, her style, her poise, her voice and her hair! I wanted her to be the face of Sexy Hair because she represented everything that I had in my head for the brand: youth, beauty, talent, class, a young sophistication, and sexiness." -- Jim Morrison, CEO of Sexy Hair Products.

Joe, we see eye to eye on this deduction. Thanks. We share the same sentiments about the AI 7 girls top 6.
