Melinda?! Seriously if she goes home before someone else, i will cry LOL!!. I do not understand the voting this year on idol at all. !!!!!! I told myself i wouldnt vote this year, but look at what im doing. i think my fingers hate me for lying to them about the whole thing!! hehe

Haha... I think Melinda will be in the final 2 for sure... you really have nothing to worry about! Although for any LaKisha fans out there: beware, she will be this season's "shocker" for an early exit. Personally, I like Gina!!! She is a serious dark horse to be reckoned with....

We are all assuming that Melinda will be there every week automatically. Not so. We have to VOTE our little fingers off. I agree that Lakisha may be the 'surprise' elimination. Sad. She is too good. And Sanjaya will still be there. OMG!!!

Yeah this year's voting is totally messed up. I usually wait until my favorite is in the bottom three before I start voting. I know that's risky, but I tend to be a casual voter compared to most of you! LOL I may not have the opportunity this week to vote at all, but I'm totally going to start voting for JORDIN as soon as I can. Stephanie and Chris S. had no warning (being in the bottom group) before they were gone. I understand Sanjaya having a core of supporters, but I don't get Phil and Haley hanging in there so long. Totally messed up ...

i don't think Lakisha or Jordin have the same support as Melinda does. Melinda has been #1 EVERY week so far, whereas the other two are all over the place. In fact, I fear Sanjaya has more supporters than both those girls.

I was watching an LA TV station yesterday.  The, as usual were commenting on Sanjaya, taking bets about how far he can go.  Then they said that the American Idol contract states that the producers have the final say, no matter what.  How far can they let him go?

I don't like what the Sanjaya thing is doing to American Idol. Yes, it proves that ANYONE can win Idol, but he obviously has no talent and has a weird personality on top of that. Can we hold hair in such high esteem?

It's almost like Sanjaya isn't there. every week it's the same...he sings (terribly), the judges don't give any criticism (they know it's pointless), and then he's safe from elimination.

and melinda is getting on my nerves. she always seems so surprised when the judges day good things about her. she has to know she has a good voice by now.

the only ones I vote for are Gina, Blake, and Jordin. And Gina is fading on my list, so pretty soon I have a feeling I'll only be voting for Blake and Jordin.

I don't think it is in our best interests to bad-mouth any contestant, no matter what we might personally think of them. I have my likes and dislikes, but just as a reminder, look what happened to the TWO Haley threads.....

well my fav is definitely gina. then jordin and melinda. i hate all the guys in this comp. yes even blake. although, and i know i will get bashed for this, i enjoy having sanjaya in the comp. b/c it brings some humor into the whole thing. hahaha like his hair last week for instance. i found that funny. and i would much rather have him in than chris richardson and phil stacey. haha i was thinking really hard on who the 4 guys left were. i remembered blake and sanjaya but chris and phil are SO DARN BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! phil is a wannabe daughtry, and chris is a wannabe timberlake. at least sanjaya has his own thing going..even if its not a great thing but its still better than the other 2 imo. its interesting. and blake i respect cuz he has his own thing but he doesn't really have a great voice either. nothing special or out of the ordinary..its just. o he beat boxed! ok now lets make an album...

well i think ive made clear my opinion. but in the end none of the boys matter to me..cuz like i said i love gina and jordin! and melinda even though she's a little weird. lol
