i don't know if i'm doing this right..lol but here are my favorite people..
GUYS:
NICK PEDRO!!!!!---ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!! awesome..bad song choice this week but i really believe that he can step it up and wow america.
brandon rogers---very suave, good voice, good moves, he and nick are the only two guys i like..i kinda like blake but not really.
GIRLS:
Jordin Sparks---great talent for a 17 year old..although i don't think she will win.
melinda doolittle!!!!----favorite female at the moment. she has so much indirect goofy energy and i LOVE IT!! her voice is amazing.
Gina Glockson---great great GREAT power voice, very unique. can hold her own in this competition! 2nd fav female
LaKisha Jones---Great performance tonight..but the only bad thing is that there will always be someone who has a very VERY similar style to her. she is not enough out of the ordinary like melinda who you do not see every day. LaKisha is great but not fresh..

those are my faves and i hope they are all in the top 12!! esp. nick and melinda! GO TEAM GO!

Me.. i like Blake and Brendan.. Chris too but he didn't prove his whole 'package' yet to me, So.. And for the girls, i dun know bcuz there's noone who impressed me.. But i'll choose Gina and Antonella (i support her bcoz most of McPhans on AI board like her LOL).

Besides seeing a few seconds of Simon trashing Amy Krebs tonight, I've seen maybe 10-15 minutes total of AI6. I think, however, that I can confidently bet against the 3 Seattle-based contestants in the top 24. We support our American Idol contenders like Atlanta supports its sports teams: poorly! In the third season, 2 Seattle-area singers made the top 12, but then both went out in the first 2 weeks. So my suggestion is to avoid picking any of them to win - they won't have enough hometown voters to survive.

Hey, everybody! Thanks for putting this AI 6 pool together, Co & Joe. AI is definitely not the same this year without our Kat, but the girls really put on a fun show tonight.

Gone this week: Rudy & Sundance, Amy & Nicole
With all the hype he's gotten, Sundance is a bit of risk to call as a "leaver," but he really did not perform well this week. The other three had just plain forgettable performances.

The girls certainly brought it last night, but there were 5 outstanding performances and everyone else just seemed mediocre. I think the winner will be female again this season. Watch out, Fantasia!

I'm in...but mine are being based mainly on last 2 nights of performing,
since i have not been following like usual. Sad to say, but i'm not
impressed by any of the guys. Blake would be the best of the bunch
so far though. As for the ladies...Wow! Very impressed by a number of
them. But i choose to wait and see 1 more performance from both groups
before making my top picks.

Although, I think Sundance should go based on his performance, I think he'll end up staying this week.  I hate to vote against Paul, my local guy - sorry Paul.

I totally agree with you Bill, they do have a lot of support.  I do believe Cindy Crawford Jr. will be around again next week.  And, votefortheworst has wreaked havoc on the AI system - people need to quit listening to them.

It's a crapshoot with the guys - only 4-5 justified their place in the competition, so it's just a pick-em from the rest.

Funny about the girls - four of them look essentially alike. How do you distinguish between Alaina Alexander, Amy Krebs, Haley Scarnato, and Nicole Tranquillo? Not on looks and not on singing, either. Take your pick from one of those girls.

One other note - anyone else find this years group to be a mouthy lot? They sure do think highly of themselves.

I think the females are easier than the males.  If this is done right...there's only about 3-4 women that should be in trouble.  You could argue for about 8 or 9 of the guys.
Oh, is this a mouthy lot?  That's funny considering some people got on Katharine for talking back to the judges even though she never said anything disrespectful to them.  Probably "I didn't pick it!" was the most "controversial".
