I'll post my picks later, early favorites: "Chris Sligh is my guy!" I like Chris, something about him. Also, I really have been wanting a "male Kat" this season since everyone went crazy over Kat last season, lol, it would nice to have a "Male Version of Kat." Fortunately, there appears to be a few fellas that are easy on the eyes, now if they can sing . . . . " Co, will be hitting the redial without a problem." There's definitely not any stand-outs among the female cast so far; however, I have a few I think will be moving on just by my first impression vibe. Okay, I want to see this thread filling up - come on zzyzx, Margerth, Collette and a few others I saw post earlier.
Also, new members - come on down and join the fun!
OK, OK...if you want to include picking who will be eliminated every week as well....AHHH, now I understand why you were saying something about having picks in by Wednesday. But we won't find out who's gone with the guys until Thursday. Why not just get everything in (guys & girls) by Thursday?
And yes...I'm working on some kind of a scoring system for forecasting the Top 12. I think we're going to give everyone one set of performances to digest before having you make that leap into the pool of selecting your entire Top 12 (1 thru 12).
My early female favorite is Jordin Sparks as well. I've noticed I'm not alone on that one. I'm not sure about the guys but I do think Chris Sligh has a chance to do well because he has a good voice combined with a fun personality. He's almost Taylor...just with a more mainstream sound and probably better dance moves. Although I wonder if "quirky guy" can win two years in a row. I don't think people wanted back-to-back beauty queens (Carrie & Kat) and that's why Katharine lost to Taylor.
Anyway...hope everyone joins in. You can keep me busy figuring out all of the scores for this every week. Although those people familar with me know I love that stuff so...whatever!
