There are two pics I haven't seen here... I don't know how to post them. The one where she kisses the three judges on the lips - she is all puckered up waiting for Simon to ask if they are allowed. (this could go in the goffy kat thread)

There also was a few second video where Kat is back stage looking like she is about to throw up. It was before she went out for the final six and found out she and Chris were in the top 2 not the bottom as she expected after the yellow dress fiasco. - it is a totally different Kat expression

I think that while she was singing the song, the whole effect of the song really hit her and she realized how different her life turned out to be and she could finally smile, because she was perfectly content...she wasnt mad at herself or anybody, she was just happy!

I think she was happy that she was done with the competition.  That she had made it through a very tough night (given her voice condition) and she was done competing on American Idol.  It was probably just a big, "Whew, I made it" smile.

Because if you just watch her performances from the next night....she was almost a different person.  So was so free in those performances...she was amazing that night.  Not that she isn't always amazing but I think a big weight came off her shoulders after she finished "My Destiny".  Because those last couple of weeks were pretty rough (the Chris thing, the drama in Top Three week, etc, etc).
