Thank you so much for these! I finally got the answers about Katharine and Nick's wedding that I had been dying to know. i.e., processional music, what Mandisa sang, length of ceremony, etc., etc., etc. I thought it was a wonderfully put together article. I just may have to buy the magazine to keep for future reference. I do have a daughter of marrying age! LOL! Plus, I was amazed that my tastes in decor, music and gowns would be the same as Katharine's! Just girly stuff....but, oh so important to those of us with discriminating taste! LOL!!
Peonies have long been one of my most favorite flowers. And, they have a great fragrance. My Mother had 4 bushes of them in my childhood home and when we had to move Mom to a different living location and sold the house, my sister managed to transplant some of them to her home. Sorry, didn't mean to run on about my personal life!
Katharine was a radiant, glowing, gorgeous bride! I'm so glad she decided to wear the cathedral length veil with blusher. Before I even saw pictures of her wedding, I was thinking that her veil would look so nice trimmed in Spanish Lace....and lo' and behold....there it was! That style of veil is just now starting to come back into popularity with brides. A lot of brides who married in the 1950's and early 60's wore what was called a Spanish mantilla veil with that kind of lace. I just love fashion....what was old is new again!
Thank you soooooo much for providing these scans! This article is so much better than what was in People...very classy and lots of juicy details... great fun!
