Thanks to Mark( BigShady) for finding these fab pics from The Insider and Extra. Kellie Pickler was honored to be a bridesmaid. Katharine sang, "Unforgettable" and surprise, the bridegroom serenaded her with "She's Got a Way"!
how sweet
I got curious so I looked this up. It's kinda perfect.
She's Got A Way Lyrics Artist(Band):Billy Joel
She's got a way about her I don't know what it is But I know that I can't live without her She's got a way of pleasin' I don't know why it is But there doesn't have to be a reason Anyway She's got a smile that heals me I don't know what it is But I have to laugh when she reveals me She's got a way of talkin' I don't know what it is But it lifts me up when we are walkin' Anywhere She comes to me when I'm feelin' down Inspires me without a sound She touches me and I get turned around She's got a way of showin' How I make her feel And I find the strength to keep on goin' She's got a light around her And everywhere she goes A million dreams of love surround her Everywhere She comes to me when I'm feelin' down Inspires me without a sound She touches me and I get turned around She's got a smile that heals me I don't know what it is But I have to laugh when she reveals me She's got a way about her I don't know what it is But I know that I can't live without her Anyway

Katharine looks so in love and Nick looks so happy. Wow, I shed a tear on that picture of a very beautiful married couple. I am embracing Nick 110% on the part that he swept Kat off her feet to be his bride with his boyish-charm and fun-loving attitude. There is only pure happiness that I see about them being together now as married couple. We have to give the utmost respect. I'm awed. Thanks BigShady for the pics and Groucho for the lyrics of the songs.
We will watch a great love story in Hollywood unfold. It has now begun.
On another note: It's so touching as well to see Adrianna on Kat's side as her maid of honor (most probably), and Kellie Pickler as a bridesmaid. But it's hilarious to see that little flower girl with her arms folded as if to say, "I can't wait till I become 23 like Kat and marry someone like Nick". Ha ha ha ha. I'm still in tears. I cry on beautiful moments.
And it says something about Nick that he chose that song. iI's perfect. It made me think of a line from another song -- "when you smile I can tell we know each other very well."
Thanks for all the wedding scans--though seeing a giant Britney face peering up next to the wedding pictures seem to give a haunting juxtaposition.
It's always a great feeling when you see a wedding of one of your favorite notable people go this perfectly. So many other celebrity weddings done in Beverly Hills are beyond chaotic. And while prior evidence suggests the paparazzi did get wind of the wedding before even a single Kat fan knew about it (probably a new record)--the McPhee family were prepared for it and brought the...yes, umbrellas. It's either that or they're so prepared for everything, they even prepare for unexpected rainstorms in Southern California.
Well, People finally lives up to their name and provides something of class about some classy people that we all know well. These are probably some of the happiest and magical wedding pictures I've ever seen of a celebrity--so a huge kudos to the organizers for making this all work out for the sake of Kat and Nick's sanity.
While David Foster was caught in one of his sour expressions there at the piano--having him at the wedding truly does leave a symbolic dot on the map for them finally working together once the honeymoon chaos winds down and Kat decides to get back to work. Then again, I get the feeling the deal between those two is tied up in red tape at the moment, which means waiting until Kat's conveniently bored and contemplating starting a family. I'm hoping she'll start on some new project by spring to get some buzz going. August is a long way off for "IKWBL."
By the way, I knew a long time ago Nick sang after a lot of people dug up his prior stage credits. He once performed and sang in a touring production of "Mamma Mia" (as well as that musical where he met Kat: "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir")--so he presumably has a good projecting stage voice. I think he refrains from singing so he doesn't get accused of trying to upstage his wife.
Of course, if a bootleg went around of Kat singing "Unforgettable" at her wedding--it'd probably go Platinum.
