Also, Katharine gets by far the most number of pictures over all these established stage actresses.

How can we not adore her! She is glamorous at the High Hopes and Columbus-Kara events and absolutely pretty in her backstage visit with the "legally blonde" performers.

Only the performance proper is what I am presently anticipating.

That's quite a construction zone there backstage. And Laura Bell Bundy isn't distinguishing herself with that tattered Louisville Slugger shirt, capris, and velcro shoes. ;) I guess this photo op is part of the publicity push for the following event:

^Naughty, naughty. I don't know if they still have Playboy bunnies who wear those silly rabbit ears--but Kat would have fit in perfectly with that persona without it looking ridiculous. And when you add that giant chain necklace around her neck...you picture that as a good strangulation tool if necessary.

These pics show that Kat will always get invited backstage to Broadway shows--even if she doesn't appear there herself for a while. I'm not all that familiar with the Broadway version of "Legally Blonde" (weren't they up for some Tonys this year or last year?)--but it's obviously more than just a formal handshake backstage now after performances. That's not surprising when feeding off that energy in the audience can get you on such a high...you can't really calm down until hours later. It's something that happens to a lot of live performers--despite basically being exhausted doing two or three shows a night, seven nights a week.

Actually, Kat could do that role and live out her dream of being a dirty blonde in a role. I still can't understand the appeal of wanting to be blonde--even though she just wants to do a different type of role against her known persona. I'm sure the producers of the show wouldn't mind getting her for the role--at least on a temporary contract. A lot of stars find those temp gigs on Broadway highly appealing. It'd be a great stepping stone for Kat in doing more on Broadway later. Then again, if she ended up playing (for instance) Christine in "Phantom of the Opera"--she'd force the show to go for another twenty years...
