Didn't like this photoshoot very much. I don't mind the skin, but these men's mags are really heavy-handed with the airbrushing. Kat's hair looks really unnatural in the first pic, and her legs look unnaturally long in the mic shot.

Very artificial look.Why did these folks feel the need "improve"upon perfection???Kat needs airbrushing like I need a hole in the head!!!These Stuff people would probably airbrush the Mona Lisa's smile!!!!

I admit this photoshoot isn't my favorite of the bunch but I do prefer it over the "Fallen Angel" (Sorry If I've mentioned that too many times) but I do. I find this one to be more of the real Kat because it shows Kat's wild side, we know she likes to feel sexy and she just looks so innocent...especially on the pic that is used as the front cover of the Stuff Magazine. Ladymusicc, there was a similar discussion about the "Fallen Angel" photo shoot about how I didn't really approve of it but thanks to the many members on here, they convinced me that she is just playing a role, brutally they did but I suppose I was a bit brutal too. As the end result of the discussion, I see now that Kat is only playing a role which is what she'll be doing in movies. So if you think about it like I have, you'll see there really is nothing bad about the photoshoots that veer away from who Kat really is.

I just thought it was a bit ironic that someone would introduce themselves to the inhabitants of a fan site by making rather disparaging remarks--the worst of which were expunged--about the celebrity being fanned for (is that a word?) and then invite us... oh heck, you know what I mean. I'm just grumpy because my car's been in the garage all week and is costing me a ton of money. And I have a screen name to live up to, you know.

This reminds me of the little scenario we had with the Taylor Hicks fan, ironically this time last year- and very similar to that of LadyM if i might add- does anyone remember that? Cause I sure do. Thanks for pointing that out Keerfir1, I don't mean to rude or anything but that's wrong to do something like that. It's quite rude to come on a fan site where all the members adore someone like Katharine and then totally misrepresent yourself. That's just not right because our warm welcome of this person to the site felt like a waste because she's not even a fan (as far as we know at least). I'm sorry that just disappoints me, I don't think I'll be heading over to that website anytime soon.

Yes,Matt....Corinne seems to be a rather smug and insincere 15 year old.....originally said she was born in 1917 and lives in Italy("just because they sound good"(?):HELLO! Someone has some growing up to do!One of the few honest statements she made was that she didn't know much about Katharine.At least,she's not a hater.As we've said....the self-promotion ploy probably did not garner any registrants for her "forum" from kmf!

Frankly, I hope Bill's first line of business as CEO of KMF is to lock this thread up. I hate to see the bar get lowered to the level it has in here...

Ok, let's clear up a few things...considering that Corinne said I told her about this place in her welcoming thread last week. First of all, I don't know Corinne well--but she's a part of a board I used to moderate on several years ago that I dropped out of due to getting too busy (and frequenting here instead). She happened to write me an email last week asking what I've been up to, etc., and I replied telling her about my latest career aspirations...and that I posted about once a week of late here on KMF. I didn't necessarily invite her to cross the pond--not knowing if she was really interested in Kat's career. Sure enough, she obviously did swing by here and registered to see what this place was all about.

Mind you, she probably shouldn't have registered here. And even though I don't know a lot of detail about her--I do know that she has a good head on her shoulders and a good value system that's better than most 15-year-olds. She didn't necessarily instigate an attack on anybody in this thread from what I can tell--and (while most of us disagree with her opinion on these photos)--I do support honest critiques of Kat's career if it warrants it without getting attacked for it. I've done that myself here. Even so, you do have to state it with a lot of civility and true constructive criticism when in a forum like this.

Anyway--I hope that clears up some things for those who still care. Moreover, though, it's fine to rebut comments you don't agree with--but I suggest not attacking someone's character or getting personal without knowing that person. It only makes you, the member, look bad...and makes KMF look bad to those looking in.

Outside of that: You've probably seen Kat's interview regarding the "Fallen Angel" photos and how she stated that the look wasn't even a dark alter ego for her. So now we can relax she doesn't have a dominatrix Miss Hyde inside her...let alone regularly sitting on stools with virtually nothing on.
