This is getting picked up by every blog in existence. Those pink panties are the current toast of the Internet,
except maybe in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. That's what she gets for befuddling a weather man on
the air. Mother Nature strikes back with a windstorm! (and provides more publicity than her label in the process).

These days you can enjoy stuff like this and still be a prude. The norm seems to be to leave the underwear
at home, so if someone is obviously making an attempt to keep covered, that's almost downright matronly of her.
She may be hearing, way in the back of her head, little voices saying things like "But Mom, YOU did it. I saw
the pictures!" Then what do you do?

Actually, this picture is downright prudish!  When my youngest was about 5 we went to a family water theme park and there was a girl walking right in front of him with a THONG bikini!!!  The way girls show their butts these days its become blase...sadly.  So, all this to say...Kat reveals less when her dress blows up than the majority of girls on the beach

I do agree that she does look good in these shots even with the pregnant look cause she's got to be the prettiest pregnant woman I've ever seen.
After the initial WOW! that you first get from seeing these incredible shots, lets not forget why were really fans of her. Granted that shot where the wind is blowing up her dress and showing the pink underwear is one that definitely gets people taking and probably boosting her career but that shouldn't be the main focus. Her wardrobe malfunctions, that shouldn't be what Katharine's about and I can't understand why so many of you support that. I'm sure if someone told Kat about it she'd laugh but that's beside the point.

I'm beginning to worry that if we see too many malfunctions, people will only see her as "The girl who showed yellow underwear on AI or the girl who showed underwear during the Jay Leno performance, the girl who broke her bra strap singing "Hound/dog All shook up and now the girl who showed pink underwear while on the set of "House Bunnie"....all of this instead of being the young beautiful talented artist who has a sweet personality and cares for others. Now this probably wasn't Katharine fault because it wasn't intentional but it happened. Sure this is getting her great exposure but it's the wrong kind, it's the kind where people forget what she's really about. I'm sorry to be so brutally honest here but this is how I feel.

Gee, I wonder if she'll single handedly start a whole rash of pregnancies by making it look so good... oh,
just forget I said that. That tummy and that dress together make me think of a hot air balloon. I think we
all know she can sing, but a lot of people totally forget about the last season of AI as soon as the next
one begins, and it's up to us to make sure she never gets forgotten. marketing is 9/10 of anything. If
people don't know something's there, they can't buy it. So any way we can bring her back into their
consciousness is fine--as long as she's not going into meltdown like some superstars I could mention
(but won't). Some australian guy posted pink-panty-whoops pictures in his blog, got curious, found
some Youtube vids, and posted one of Over The Rainbow in his blog and RAVED about her voice. So
sometimes things go from the ridiculous to the sublime all by themselves.

^There's the reaction shot when someone told Kat her skirt was lifting up in the wind and the paparazzi were right on it. And I think this was after "Thing" got loose again...

Interesting shots from the filming location. I knew it when I saw Kat wearing that psychedelic dress at her concerts or other events that she was doing a form of method acting and we'd see her wearing a similar dress in the movie. Are there actually 20-something hippies out there who still think they can audition as a go-go dancer on an old 60's variety show? We know this is comedy--but maybe it really does reflect a small segment of 18-34 year-olds in America. Somehow I like that dress better than the other one that truly did look late 60's fashion.

It looks to me Kat isn't used to wearing that pregnant suit quite yet based on a few grimace shots of her trying to adjust it. She probably would have method acted that too while doing concerts lately...despite the rags having a field day with it while psychoanalyzing why she'd do such a thing. We may find out she wore the pregnant suit during her free time around the house to get into the character.

On the media implications of the McBuns shot: Yes, Comcast's "The Fan" was all over that again this last week on their main news page. That's "Let's Gawk at Kat's Body" news headline #4 in just three months through Comcast. I know most people know she sings. Nevertheless, I wish the media would let up just a little on the obsession with Kat's body parts. Sure, it's beautiful to look at--but it ultimately cheapens who she is and what she's trying to achieve. I think most of us in the fanbase gravitated to her as an artist because we figured that she'd be able to avoid that despite having a killer body.

Obviously, when you DO have a killer body--the media won't pretend it isn't there. And...I hope naysayers won't start accusing her of "knowing" the camera was there to photograph the McBuns. I'm fairly confident Kat didn't know a camera was there based on the "before and after" shots. Only that mysterious hand on the left-hand side knew it was there.

By the way: When you have Rumer Willis in the same shot with you--the media is sure to use the pun "Rumer has it..."

I didn't have any trouble with the link in the photo. If you go to this link, beware of some of the less than family-friendly posts.

Hard to judge a movie on a dozen candids of someone walking around, but if Kat's looking that good, it's bound to be McPhabulous! I'll bet she steals scenes from the other girls, too. Unintentionally, of course!

I wouldn't worry about it.  When you are in front of cameras as much as she is...things are bound to happen.  The HD/ASU thing was nothing.  It's not like you saw anything.  Most people probably don't even realize she had trouble with her bra that night.

Her only famous malfunction was the yellow dress & IHN.  The Leno thing was nothing.  She's dancing and her dress flew up a tiny bit.  Happens all the time when people dance.  This...she's wearing a pregnant suit on a windy day.

I think we hyperanalyze things a little too much in the fandom.  As for her getting too much attention for her body and not for what she does.  She's 23 and gorgeous.  It's not like people don't know she can sing.  Like Groucho said that guy in Australia "discovered" her singing talents after seeing these panty pictures because he was curious who she was.  And that's a key statement.  So many people have no idea who Katharine is that if it takes things like this (and nobody thinks she did this for attention, that's important)....so be it.
