^Isn't that the classic "Madame" puppet? I remember seeing that puppet on TV as a kid in various late 70's variety shows (I think the original puppeteer's name was Waylon Flowers)--but I thought that puppet died with its creator. I remember hearing about WF dying sometime in the 90's from AIDS. So, apparently this is his son or maybe another puppeteer who's carrying on his legacy. From all indications, though, "Madame" is about as bad or worse than other real-life envious women out there Kat's had to deal with since the beginning of 'AI.' And even worse--"Madame" has weapons on the ends of her arms that could take an eye out. At least Kat was fighting back by possibly biting off one of "Madame's" fingers.

Anyway--thanks, Mark, for this out-of-this-world collection of Kat media pics again. They just keep rolling these out every few days now. By this time next year, I think Kat's going to be considered THE most beautiful woman in entertainment...as well as the most photographed of all time. Just consider the volume number already in Kat's photo collection since this time last year. It'd probably blow your mind.

Oh, and I looked up GLAAD's website a few minutes ago to see where this was held--and it was San Francisco on Saturday night. Of course, we all know there's a strong gay contingent there, so it was apropos--even though they apparently held this in other cities recently too. While some people may disagree with what they stand for--it's great to see Kat there representing the gay community who are already starting to be a strong part of her fanbase. When you work in show business, working with and getting to know gay/lesbian people is a way of life. I'm glad Kat makes no big deal over the issue and accepts them as you would anybody else. Some of the gay/lesbian people honored at this have made major contributions to the world in one way or the other.

Kat did sing TWO songs at this according to the GLAAD site. Perhaps we'll get video of those before long. My guess is that 'Open Toes' was one of them--though it looks like she was singing ballads from the still pics.

Kat sang "Home" in the mid show, and then closed the show with 'Love Story'. She was the biggest star there - in terms of audience reception, in my opinion. She introduced "Home" with "I"m here to support the gay awards because when I was growing up, my mother always had people coming in and out of the house, and so I want to give back to the gays for supporting the arts". It made no sense as an opening, but she was cute anyway.

She ended with Love Story- and she made a big misstep, in my opinion. First up, she had everyone stand at the awards. The awards were already running late, so telling people to stand literally made them start heading out of the hall to the VIP party. It was a horribly bad move of hers, and she had to cut her song short to say good night to everyone.

Also, she kinda "sexed" it up, and was like dancing provacatively with people in the front row -- which caused some people to go "what is she doing?" She even brought this guy on stage with her, and started dancing. But he was a good sport, and she was cute about it. But it's the GAY awards. It would have been so cool had she brought a girl on stage. In fact, the host, Kim Coles, introduced the show, making all these straight comments. It's like, for me, if you're in a gay award show, fit the theme. I wish Kat would have gone out of her way to do that.

But to the person who said that she looked tired in the pictures - ya, she was dead tired. She was spaced out and yawning throughout the awards. Dress is CUTE in the pictures....not so much in real life. Her bra was showing the whole time.

Aww it seems as though I'm being hard on Katharine - sorry! I snuck into her rehearsals (Cokas and Roger were there), and watched her rehearse Home and Love STory - and she was FANTASTIC. By far, she got the warmest applause from people at the awards.

She skipped out on the VIP party (she went to her room to be with Cokas, I'm sure) but Roger went. He's so cute! Pink shirt, totally gay. Kinda kept to himself, but REALLY nice.

I also got to man Kat's table for the live auction - but she didn't bid. Bad Kat!

I thought the purpose of the awards (from a cursory reading of their website) was to honor representations of the LGBT community in the media that presented them as people with the same attributes, virtues, foibles, faults, talents, and rights as any other citizen of the USA and/or child of god. I guess I have a hard time finding that controversial. I know you didn't mean anything. I'm just being an old curmudgeon.

GLAAD is an acronym for The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.  Katharine was obviously the entertainment. lol

WOW!!!! What fabulous pictures!! Kat has never looked better. There is something so sweet about her expression in these photos. I love her hair like that too. Not straight but curled just enough to be glamorous and natural at the same time! One of my favorite looks for her. Sure wish that People would use one of those shots!

Sorry Angson had such an unfavorable review of Kat and the event. I didn't see Kat's bra in any of those photos. Wonder if it was in the back or something. From all the pics, she looked great to me and like she was having a great time. To answer someone's question . . . I think she was the AWARD and the ENTERTAINMENT!!! LOL I bet Big Shady would be thrilled to take that award home!!

Break out the defibrillator first!!

Beautiful Pictures! I love the color white on her, its just so incredibly gorgeous. It makes her look like an angel. And those gorgeous legs are amazing showing under that sexy short dress. Love the smiles in all of the photos too, they're captivating. Katharine has definitely earned this award and if GLAAD means Gay and Lesbian Alliance, considering what a diverse fan base she has, yeah I guess she was the entertainment lol. I hope there will soon be a video of this.
