I'm sorry, that is so right. I don't know how I got those two confused "Self" and "In Style" - yeah Phee, they do sound very similar.

So, there is a video of Katharine dancing somewhere on that site...

Thanks Phee for this latest shoot and article from Self Magazine. The pictures of
a healthy, happy Kat are so welcoming and positive.  My favorite line:

That pic of Kat sitting on the rock at the beach is magnifico! That's got to be one of my very favorite photos of her (at least in the last two weeks ) and I ask a favor of anyone who can make a HQ out of that (minus the text) to do so if they can. I have good photo software,so I might be able to do something with that. My buying the actual magazine would help, too, (this one's on the "safe" list) rather than taking it from this scan.

Well, I'm always partial to females being photographed on the beach for some reason. There's something about it that always seems appealing...and it has nothing to do with bikinis or other short outdoor wear.

Anyway, thanks for all the scans from the Self pics and interview. This is another magazine I've seen around in my mom's health mag collections--and it's great Kat's gotten herself immersed in these top-notch health magazines to help people. She needs to keep reiterating the importance of treating Bulimia, because people forget too easily.

Looking at Kat's halter and shorts there, I had to observe how conservative those clothes are. I'm all for it on Kat, because she's the epitome of bringing back that type of wear when the time's right. We know she doesn't do that all the time, but it's nice to see in certain magazines. The persona of her wearing those clothes and playing around on the beach seems emblematic of who she is. And I like that cover a lot--even better than the Shape one. The reason is because she appears to be running, which gives Kat a chance to do something rather than stand and pose. Plus, they didn't photoshop out the beach background as they inexplicably did on Shape. They must have found a quiet beach somewhere for a change...unless Kat's running from a pot-bellied male retiree on the beach...that means Photoshop WAS used.

Edit: That interview had some interesting insights into how Kat met Nick. Reading how she was talking in his car for hours was endearing to see.  Engaging close communication like that is the way to go in starting any relationship.

Edit2: Still no vid on Self.com at the time of this writing. We get to see Kat dancing on the beach? There's gotta be a bonfire there when she does that.

Thats one of the VERYVERYVERY few things about Kat that scares me, she makes out with her dog... Not that im too much better but I dont give my dog tongue back. Plus my dogs a boy lol

well i let my dog (a boy) kiss and lick the heck out off my lips as well!!! LOL, but i dont like, open my mouth! that's waaay too much for me, and if my mom sees me doing that, she'd kill me!

oooh, i loooove text messaging! lol, im Filipino, so that says it all! ha!

hmmm, we have similar stress signals, habits, and it is quite hard to get rid off...

this has got to be one of the most informative mag interviews yet. alot of new things about Kat. an in depth story on how she grew up and got into the disorder, and how she's recovering now... Awesome, this interview's very very positive!

I KNOW!  I read that and went..."Oooh, I didn't know that part!  Tell me more, Kat!"  And the "but I do have some nice memories of the sauna!"  STOP IT!  Stop it with those loose lips of yours!  Even though we love her candidness sometimes I just want to tell her to shut up for her own good.

I completely agree with you!

As for the nervous habits, I have the exact same ones, I also think crying helps for some reason and I always get in trouble with my txt messaging bill, which I get in trouble for later....lol
