And yes I know how it feels to wonder if anyone is looking at something you've done when they don't make comments (see Fan Fiction folder). But the views indicate someone's looking at them even if they don't say anything (which 90% of people don't say anything about everything on this site).
Thanks again for all of this. The story about Kat hanging in the VIP section with Nick is pretty funny but the best part is "I know you all want me to sing Open Toes but my backup singers aren't here." If you've seen AOL Sessions...you know she has to have her backup singers for OT. There's no way she'd survive the entire song without them.
I wasn't whining about the lack of response to my posts personally, how pathetic would that be? I am pointing out more out of concern than anything else that KMF participation seems to be down. That there was just no one on the board for hours to even notice that there were new pics and videos of Katharine performing.
This should be a concern to all of us who spend our spare time on these boards because in the end it is the participation of others that makes it worthwhile, if we just liked posting for its own sake we could all have blogs.
Actually particpation is down at IDF too. I have no idea about IE or any other site. Just pointing it out, not sure what can be done about it. I'd hate to see either of these boards fade away.

I FINALLY met Kat! Current mood: excited
I finally got the chance to meet Katharine McPhee last night! I got on Myspace at 8:30pm last night and saw that Kat had posted a bulletin that she was going to be at a place called the Arena in Hollywood and to be there by midnight. What a great opportunity to finally be able to meet her! So I decided to go and got changed and headed down there. I managed to get a spot at the edge of the stage to watch. At 12:30am the DJ announced her and she introduced her video for "Over It" from the back so I couldn't see her. By the time the video was ending she showed up on the small stage. She greeted and grabbed our hands to say hi! She was excited to see all of us cheering for her. She talked for a minute and then they played "Love Story" and she started singing and asked we sing along. I think I was one of the few that actually knew the words and she saw that I was singing along so she came over and grabbed my hand again and then put the mike in front of me to sing with her, my line..."TYPICAL LOVE STORY!" Pretty cool! When the song was over I followed as they were bringing her back to the VIP lounge. I asked her to sign a picture I had and she did although it was a hurried signature. A female security person I was talking to earlier in the evening knew I wanted to meet her. Asked if she wanted me to have her take a picture with her...YES!! So I follwed her to the VIP Lounge and she took our picture, it didn't come out very well. Security told me to wait and when she was leaving I could ask to take another picture. I got another picture signed and I waited. As they were getting ready to leave she was talking to some girlfriends of hers and I met and talked to Nick her boyfriend, who was very cool! I went ahead of them and outside so I could see her to get a better picture. I asked Nick if I could get another picture and he offered to take it! They both were so nice and kind! I've posted the pictures in my picture section! And video in my video section!
