Well first of all, I'm straight..so being in this environment was interesting as it was. haha Hated that I spent 10 bucks to get in, 6 bucks to park, and I was there for about 80 minutes, and Kat was only on stage for about 6 of that..but that's how it works I guess. But she dressed typical, casual, Katharine....jeans, top, cropped jacket She sang well..it helped that the crowd was into it, cause she was able to feed off the energy..but it also kind of sucked because they didn't like, know the words, so lol

Before she came on, they showed her Over It video... After she performed she helped pass out cd's and on the side one guy ran his hand down her leg so she scooted herself over towards him and started shaking her butt but then slowly inching away...it was cute until security came and was yelling at the guys on that side haha. Kath was like no no no it was all me.

It would have been nice if she had taken a turn with Rod to do one of their numbers from AI - "The way you look tonight" would have brought the house down. I'm sure Katharine would be up to it for fun and publicity and it wouldn't hurt Rod to have a gorgeous young girl on stage with him. Oh well, can always dream.
Yeah, Rod tours all over the world. Kat singing with Rod would be fab, fab, fabulous. Rod at age 62 still has IT. The arena was almost sold out. Like Andrea Bocelli, I could see Rod luvin her too, during the AI days.
Last nite on PBS, I viewed "Behind the Scenes of Duet" Tony Bennett's latest album. Boy, would I love to see Kat sing with this legend! Yeah, I know, Kat is gearing herself toward the young audience, so it's probable that pairing her with a John Legend, Justin would be preferred now.

Simon...not to be ungrateful BUT I think we all appreciate when you bring this stuff over from IDF. But it isn't really that interesting to see a bunch of people say. "Wow, great pictures. She looks beautiful." You know? Do you need us to tell you everytime that we appreciate it? We do. We really, really, really appreciate it.
And yes I know how it feels to wonder if anyone is looking at something you've done when they don't make comments (see Fan Fiction folder). But the views indicate someone's looking at them even if they don't say anything (which 90% of people don't say anything about everything on this site).
Thanks again for all of this. The story about Kat hanging in the VIP section with Nick is pretty funny but the best part is "I know you all want me to sing Open Toes but my backup singers aren't here." If you've seen AOL Sessions...you know she has to have her backup singers for OT. There's no way she'd survive the entire song without them.
