It actually reminds me of a certain "Seinfeld" episode when Elaine "accidentally" falls into the chest of Jerry's girlfriend(Terri Hatcher) to see if they are real or not...... Hilarious episode. The last thing Jerry's girlfriend says when she finds out what was up and walks out on him..."They're real and they're spectacular".....
So here's a little "comparative pictography" --the McPhelt and the McPheeler. At first glance, I'd say the lady with the great tan is McPhully-qualified, maybe even OVERqualified, to "size things up".....

No, we took it on faith. I just watched the video and I'm still not quite sure what happened. It was kind of an ambush, but still, isn't that the kind of thing where you can still say "Are you crazy? Keep your hands off me." So I think everybody just suffered a little mental lapse there.
Somebody oughta post the Sports Illo next to the Shape cover and label it Innie and Outie. (K. was making jokes about that on Teen Nick.)
I'm not sure if you watched the video or not but,Katharine encouraged the "feel". She did not look embarassed to me in any way, shape or form. I dont know how the conversation started but I dont think Tyra started it. Anyway, doesnt look like Tyra is at fault to me.
I don't see any problem here, Katharine isn't embarassed, her space wasn't violated, Tyra asked, Katharine gave permission.
Katharine is the only person I've ever seen have her picture taken with her tongue out and later with her finger up her nose. Katharine appears in public and on her blogs sans makeup. Katharine talks openly about squeezing her zits, shaving her legs, plucking her eybrows, Nena's periods.
Katharine just knows that all of this stuff about your body and how you look is shallow and on the surface and not important to who you really are, and she is teaching the world a lesson on this.
Of course it is all great PR too, and the bashers will try to make something out of it, but I think even they are realizing they have lost this battle and war.

Funny how this thread changed once the video came out because obviously Katharine encouraged this. Which of course she did. I don't think Tyra would just be doing that uninvited! I think this is great personally. They were just bonding with each other over the constant rumor mill that goes around. And well it's obvious now what Katharine was alluding to. She was alluding to that huge picture that wondered if she'd gotten a boob job because of the Golden Globes pictures. So she just figured...I remember Tyra having someone test her out before...she's certainly qualified to do something like this. It'll be funny & get all over the place. And maybe shut everyone up in the process.
And yeah...Tyra's definitely qualified. Even if she's not in quite this shape anymore, she's still beautiful.
And for comparision sake even though Kat's bikini isn't quite as revealing...
