Cute pic, Minnie!

That's an old pic--perhaps around the time of Kat's homecoming last May (based on the Pretty Thing shirt). In fact, I think that's possibly Diane's dong, Marlee, if I'm not mistaken. Diane will have to confirm that though.

I don't think I've ever seen that pic before, though I may have somewhere along the way. There's been so many pictures (some of which I should have saved) that I've seen since spring of last year, that some might seem new to me.

Kat's always comfortable around all animals. Even when she held up that other chihuahua at NDHS during her homecoming--she knows how to handle any type dog. One of the morning shows last week mistakenly put the picture up of Kat holding that other chihuahua I mention above (maybe that's where Kat got the idea to adopt Nena ) rather than showing the real Nena. I think Steve mentioned that on Kat's MySpace comment page last week.

Anyway, I think Kat's mostly been fond of bigger dogs until recently. Nena's a well-behaved little dog, though, so she was the perfect choice for her.

I think Marlee's a golden retriever (the world's greatest dog, by the way).
That's a yellow lab.
And this picture is just calling out for a caption, which I don't have right now.

^Well at least I didn't call it the Pretty Things shirt as I did once here by mistake.

You don't see Kat wear that shirt quite as often lately...though we obviously know that Kat's been seen wearing it numerous times since the homecoming. It just looked like some of the shots we saw during that homecoming and Kat was spending time with the family...pets and all. Kat's hairstyle was fairly similar back then too (even the jeans look the same)...though we'll need some help on pinning down when it was. I know I've seen it before, but just don't know where or when.

Yeah, Groucho--that couldn't be Marlee for the reasons you said. It must be a neighbor's dog though. Kat probably is aware of numerous dogs from family friends living around Sherman Oaks. And you can tell that the dogs are all comfortable being around her. They know when a person is an animal lover and when they aren't. You can just see it in the face of all dogs when around people and how comfortable they are around them. So those who aren't fans of dogs may as well realize that they can't get away with covering it up...even though most dogs will try to instigate friendship with you anyway...
