...and pretty soon we'll be getting a video blog of Kat in her jammies with no makeup and stringy hair to tell us how it went. Know what? That is the Kat I love, this one is just interesting.

OMG! She looks amazing in that dress!! Though I have to admit that in some of the pictures she doesn't look like her.. guess it's the make up... but yeah, she looks stunning!
And Steve, I'm sure that's what she was thinking when that pic was taken.. ;) can you imagine if she had her glasses on? lol

At last! Kat walks the Katwalk alone...and looks better than any other model who's ever walked a runway. Although that heavy lipstick makes it look like this was a fashion show in Japan instead. That first picture with the heavy lipstick makes Kat almost look like one of the most beautiful Geisha's ever.  And when you consider the definition of "Geisha" into English ("Art Person")--it fits Kat perfectly.

Thanks to Tina, Simon and Minnie for all the series of pics--and I think Wireimage may as well call themselves Katimage for the rest of the week in celebration of how many photos of her took over their pages. Does this rival the Carousel Ball pics from last December? I see Simon saying that there were literally thousands of pics of Kat taken at this event...and I think that's almost unprecedented for one star at an event, isn't it? Now I really see professional models who spent years building their careers getting envious. And I see Kat had to walk in a single file line around other models who looked like they were planning something nefarious in their heads.

Anyway, based on the picture I posted above, Kat has "The Walk" down pat when walking a modeling runway. Last time, she walked out with Dina Bar-El while holding a bouquet of lilies. Kat's shape is the way ALL models should be. Yes, Kat's a little slimmer there, but just perfect. She still has well-defined curves unlike most professional models you see.

I'm going to swipe a few of these to make a new avatar that I need to update. Quite a contrast going from holding roses on a New Year's float to looking hot on the runway in a red crystal dress. But spring's right around the corner...

By the way, I like that dress for the most part, though not so much that white trim at the bottom that reminds me of a Christmas tree skirting. Otherwise, Kat did Swarovski proud. Kat also just started a true modeling career for herself if she really wanted it...

oh, my.. this is a little late a reaction, but she's sooo gorgeous! i'd kill for those legs! the McLegs are out again guys!

i actually looove her look, ya she looks different, but the make-up is something new, and who doesnt love that red dress??

I agree Steve! I hope Nena doesn't learn from the best soon enough...even though male chihuahuas out there would love it. 


If Kat ended up kissing anybody at this event...I wonder how many explanations had to be made back at home...

YEP!  We'll probably get one in the morning this weekend.  Glasses, bathrobe...ratty hair..."Hi everyone!  It's me again!  Fashion show went great...I have a few days off here in New York before a couple of shows on Monday & Tuesday before I head home to LA.  Um, just wanted to check in with you guys.  Go buy some albums!  Or tell you friends!  Check in with you all tomorrow.  I love you all!  Later!"

I think she's pulling the runway model thing off pretty well though.    But I commented to myself looking at the pictures...why do I like a couple of those outdoor natural ones around the paparazzi more than the runway ones?

It's a fashion show!  Swarovski picked Katharine to wear that dress.  They advertised it on their web site.  It was the "showcase" dress with all the crystals on it.  And they picked Katharine to wear it!  Big honor for Katharine that they thought she could wear it well.  And so she did.

In a word . . . WOW!!!!

The very light (almost white looking) foundation they used on her and the elongated false eyelashes did make Kat look oriental. What a hoot! Still beautiful, as usual! She doesn't even look like herself!

Lovely, the great thing about Kat is that she is getting so big, and everyone loves her. Infact today I told my friend that I was rushing home to watch Katharine on the Rachael Ray show and she brought up the fact that she wore a 5lb dress, and I was like DUH I knew that lol. So it's good that Katharine is being seen.
